To support survivors and end domestic violence in San Luis Obispo County.
The Ruth Institute is a global interfaith coalition equipping Christians to defend the family and build a civilization of love. Founded by world-renowned author, speaker, and academic Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, the Ruth Institute’s Resource Center provides decades of research and educational tools to support individuals and families harmed by divorce, the hook-up culture, and other forms of family breakdown. The Ruth Institute believes that: Every person has the right to know his or her cultural heritage and genetic identity. Every child has a right to a relationship with their natural mother and father except for an unavoidable tragedy. The Ruth Institute rejects the idea that a child is a problem to solve if you don’t want one and an object to purchase if you do want one. The Ruth Institute has a dream that every child be welcomed into life in a loving home with their own mother and father, married to each other. The Ruth Institute upholds the ancient Christian teachings about marriage, family, and human sexuality. These teachings are today sometimes regarded as exclusively “Catholic.” But in fact, Judaism, and most Christian groups, historically taught many of the same things. The Ruth Institute works with individuals and groups, religious or otherwise, who share our views, in whole or in part, regardless of their positions on other issues.

The Josselyn Center's mission is to improve lives by providing quality mental health care in communities. Our vision of providing Mental health for all means we believe everyone is deserving of mental health care and we have a unique focus on low-income and marginalized residents who are more vulnerable to mental health challenges because of employment, food and housing insecurity, unsafe living conditions, and other trauma brought on by poverty and social injustice.
To offer hope after the death of a loved one by providing support networks, community education and therapeutic activities that are free, peer-based, and ongoing.
The Healing Field promotes awareness of alternative viewpoints and pathways for mental health recovery and inspires hope for developing meaning and purpose. We bring together healing practitioners and participants who are interested in the community for the purposes of learning, self-healing, wellness and ending stigma. We offer community-based wellness activities to residents of Mt. Tahoma Sanctuary and encourage the creation of more uplifting homes.
We believe in the power of students to transform campus culture.
