Provide suicide prevention mental health services.

Our Mission: is to end and prevent suicide, homelessness, and hardships within the military and veteran community.

Devon C. Rubenstein Foundation raises funds for Montgomery County high school and middle school programs to promote mental well-being and prevent youth suicide. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young adults between the ages of 18 to 24. On a national level, a young adult dies by suicide every forty (40) seconds, and, for every successful attempt, there are twenty (20) attempted suicides. DCRF is solely funding the Our Minds Matter Program (“OMM”), www.ourmindsmatter.org which is a powerful and proven student-based club that provides our youth the opportunity to create a social climate of social connectedness, healthy habits, and coping skills. The program also educates the students on how to identify suicide warning signs and reach out to peers The Devon C. To reach out and offer support to people of all ages and backgrounds during times of crisis, to work to prevent the suicide of those who are actively suicidal, and to offer hope and caring during times of hopelessness. Founded in 1966, Crisis Support Services of Alameda County offers a broad range of counseling, education and prevention services in a safe environment. CSS’ 24-hour crisis hotline responds to more than 65,000 calls each year. Services include on-going therapy groups, school-based counseling, supportive services for seniors, suicide prevention for youth; and community education. VISION Our vision is to end the epidemic of suicide and to inspire a culture free of the stigma attached to brain illnesses and its sufferers by supporting a community-wide effort that focuses on education, prevention and access to appropriate treatment. MISSION Our mission is to prevent suicide. With a focus on musicians, Nuçi's Space advocates for and helps to alleviate the suffering for those living with brain illness and fights to end the stigma of mental illness. To accomplish our mission, Nuçi's Space maintains a health and resource center for musicians as a safe space to seek support and guidance, provides access to affordable, obstacle-free professional care, actively participates in treatment and educates about awareness, prevention and the risk factors of brain illnesses.

It is our mission to break the silence of teen suicide by fostering positive relationships and encouraging open discussions between teens and the community. We believe the community and schools play a critical role in the prevention of teen suicide so we will achieve this through a variety of educational events and programs. The David J Cobb Foundation will bring awareness to this epidemic by providing the support and resources needed to end the stigma and being the voice for those who suffer in silence.

To provide mental health counseling and education to people who have experienced Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal ideation.

Racing For Heroes empowers and saves Veteran lives through motorsports and community engagement. Racing For Heroes' primary focus is on suicide prevention, through assistance to disabled combat veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Unlike many other programs, one of our key staff members is a Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in PTSD and TBI who is also a disabled combat veteran. This ensures ongoing mental health support to both Racing For Heroes participants and their families, who are also included in our programs and services.

Their mission is to provide family support, counseling and financial assistance to those who have lost a loved one to suicide. They are people who have experienced the same loss and have an understanding of the amount of pain involved. There are no paid employees. All are volunteers.

Garrett’s Space works to reduce suicide and fill gaps in mental‑health supports for young adults (roughly ages 18–28) by offering peer‑centered wellness programming and building a holistic, non‑medical residential center where participants can connect, learn coping skills, and access supportive services.
