Magdalene House Chicago seeks to nurture sustainable change for adult women who have survived sex trafficking and prostitution, by providing a sober-living home sanctuary that is both trauma and faith-informed, where they can heal, access community-based services, and achieve stability.

The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) is a non-profit, tax exempt organization providing humane care and services for horses in need of lifetime homes, and in crisis, through rehabilitation, training, adoption, lifelong follow-up, or lifetime sanctuary; and offers therapeutic equine opportunities for children, and adults.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Union County promotes the welfare of the more than 500 local children removed from their families due to abuse and neglect, now residing in foster homes, group homes, shelters and treatment facilities. CASA recruits, trains, supports and supervises community volunteers to speak up for the children, ensuring their needs are met and best interests remain a priority. Considered the eyes and ears of the judge, these Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are empowered by the family court to speak to all those in the child’s life: teachers, guidance counselors, doctors, social workers, attorneys, therapists, foster parents, family members and more. Through these contacts and consistent visits with the child, the CASA volunteer reports to the court on the child’s well-being, including any outstanding needs like tutoring, counseling, after-school activities, clothing, immunizations or other medical care. CASA strives to improve the lives of the children it serves by minimizing time in the child welfare system while maximizing the opportunity for a safe and permanent home.

iStand Parent Network inc. advocates for parents of children who are internationally abducted, wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained from their countries of habitual residence. iStand Parent Network inc. advocates for the rights of children, access rights for parents and for domestic and international policy reform that returns children home.

NQAPIA builds the capacity of local, grassroots, and affinity-based LGBTQ+API groups; advances an intersectional justice and equity agenda for all the communities we call home; supports intergenerational family (re)building and engagement; and ensures LGBTQ+API representation everywhere, especially in research and resource development.

WE HOUSE BOYS AND GIRLS WHO ARE TROUBLED, ABUSED, NEGLECTED OR COME FROM TROUBLED FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE LIVING ARRANGEMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN WHO CANNOT LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES OR UNDER ANY OTHER FAMILY CARE. WE STRENGTHEN CHARACTER BY MODELING CHRIST-CENTERED VALUES.
