RNF Mission: The mission of the Religion News Foundation is to strengthen and encourage religion reporting as a means of improving public understanding of religion. The primary means of doing this is by providing journalists in the secular media access to useful resources, examples of best practices and opportunities for increased communication with one another. RNS Mission: Religion News Service is an independent, nonprofit and award-winning source of global news on religion, spirituality, culture and ethics, reported by a staff of professional journalists. Founded in 1934, RNS seeks to inform readers with objective reporting and insightful commentary, and is relied upon by secular and faith-based news organizations in a number of countries. RNS is affiliated with the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. RNF Vision: Religion News Foundation shall accomplish its mission by supporting and funding the work of the RNA and through its own programs to promote excellence in religion reporting. RNS Vision: Religion News Service aims to be the largest single source of news about religion, spirituality and ideas. We strive to inform, illuminate and inspire public discourse on matters relating to belief and convictions.

To provide early educational opportunities to needy children and to create conditions that will help them succeed in life. To promote early education as a means to overcome poverty, reduce AIDS, gender inequality and political oppression. To setup schools to be used not only as centers of education, but as community resources and health centers for the benefit of students, their families and the community in which they are located. To establish bonds between our students in Ethiopia and children all over the world by sponsoring music, travel, language and cultural education programs.

CTF was born from the idea that the world would be a better place if we were all given the opportunity to give back. Established by a group of water women, we feel it is our calling to help others by teaming up with local organizations globally to raise awareness and address social, environmental, health and safety concerns in the places we visit. We aim to bridge the gap between the traveler and our projects enabling travelers to add a life-changing experience to their journeys and add purpose to travel.

HAF advances the understanding of Hinduism to secure the rights and dignity of Hindu Americans now and for generations to come. We do this by providing: 1) accurate and engaging educational resources about Hinduism and Hindu Americans, 2) impactful training, 3) advocacy and services that protect and promote religious liberty, free expression, equality, and justice, and 4) critical and creative programs empowering Hindu Americans to sustain their culture and identity. Established in 2003, the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) is the largest and oldest education and advocacy organization and the pre-eminent voice for Hindu Americans.

Love Story Foundation is a charity aimed at meeting the needs of the community in Port Elizabeth. We have a desire to be involved in community upliftment and development and would like to start a culture of "giving back to the community" amongst the public of this region. Our projects include feeding schemes for the homeless and destitute, early childhood development programmes in underprivileged schools and distribution of food parcels and clothing to those in need. We have a desire and passion to expand such projects and move into other areas requiring development nationally. Our Vision: to meet needs, to show love, to spread love.

The Sigil Social Foundation, a behavioral health counseling center, was created to help further humanity through love and understanding of the human condition. We are fundraising to build a long-term safe house for domestic abuse families, family members, and slave trafficking victims to escape and recover so that they can learn to love themselves. With a powerful new therapeutic curriculum and understanding, we have created the options that we wish were available to us during our times of need. Sigil is the only long-term answer to the problem of domestic abuse. Sigil is a leader in the recovery and wellness community, with the resiliency and multi-cultural integration that our diverse population deserves.

Global Diversity Foundation believes that our future depends on our respectful engagement with the vast biological and cultural diversity of Earth. We work to protect this diversity and enhance socioecological wellbeing. We carry out collaborative biocultural projects that build resilience, foster innovation and promote learning. Our work contributes to the growing global transition towards justice, respect and dignity for all beings.At the grassroots, through our regional programmes, we support communities as they improve their livelihoods while respecting environmental processes and make autonomous, informed decisions regarding their lands, resources and futures. At the global scale, we strengthen the knowledge, networking and communication skills of emerging environmental changemakers

We are a non-partisan non-profit using the law to build collective power and advance a bold, vibrant democracy for all people. We are committed to an overarching philosophy of inclusion: we believe that achieving the promise of democracy requires all of us and we seek to empower the broad and diverse range of people who make up the very fabric of our democracy with tools to ensure that their voices are heard and their needs are met. We ensure that unlawful policies that harm people and that undermine the very foundational values of American democracy are met with effective legal opposition and that the public is educated and informed about these issues. We take the long view, identifying opportunities even in challenging landscapes to propel progress toward a just and inclusive society.

The Children's Radio Foundation (CRF) uses radio training and broadcast to create opportunities for youth dialogue, participation, leadership, and active citizenship. Through giving youth the tools and skills to produce radio, young people are mobilized to engage in productive dialogue about the issues they face, and work together to improve their lives and communities. With 74 youth radio projects across six African countries, CRF works with radio stations and CBOs to create local platforms for discussion, information sharing, social engagement, and action. Our reporters take on issues that resonate with youth in their community, including but not limited to children's rights, sexual reproductive health and rights, power dynamics in teenage relationships, gender norms and stereotypes, HIV and AIDS-related issues, climate change, and the environment. Speaking in local languages and in a youth-friendly style, they interview community members, host debates, and bring out local perspectives. Their reporting projects, broadcasts, and outreach activities are geared to generate discussion about issues facing youth.

Bududa Learning Center is an umbrella organization that includes a vocational high school, an orphans program for children, and a microfinance program for women. It is located in the isolated mountain district of eastern Uganda. It was founded by Canadian-born Barbara Wybar, who has been living on site a portion of each year for the past 14 years. This isolated region, one of the poorest in Uganda, is over-populated with most families having an average of 8 children. They live by growing their own food. Most of the region has no running water or electricity. Both the education and health care system are severely under-funded and inadequate. Jobs are scarce. Most people are hungry most of the time. How & Who We Help. We work to address the problems in three ways: 1. Training young people in basic trades: carpentry; brick-laying; dress-making and tailoring; nursery teacher training; computer skills training; and hairdressing training. 2. Providing broad support to 170 children and young people, many of them orphans from AIDS, by providing education enrichment, food, and health care. 3. Training and providing micro finance loans to single mothers and grandmothers in the region who are bringing up children on their own and have no means of support, so they can start small businesses. How It Is Run The Center is staffed by Ugandans working in a professional capacity. Barbara Wybar acts as Executive Director and works in a volunteer capacity. There is a growing volunteer contingent of people from the west who visit and do volunteer work there and others who take on management and administrative work in Canada and the US in a volunteer capacity. A guest house and annex provide housing for up to 12 visiting volunteers at a time. Local Oversight A local Advisory Board of the Center, led by Father Paul Buyela, provides oversight to the headmaster of the school and the directors of the two other programs. It is made up of representatives of the teachers, the parents, the regional education board, and the community as well as the executive director. The chairman is a highly respected educator as well as clerical leader in the region at large. Governance and Financial Support Bududa Canada Foundation provides governance to the Center and raises funds from individuals, foundations, and organizations to support the Center. It is incorporated in Canada holds charitable status from the Canadian Revenue Authority (#82535 8286 RR0001). There is a board directors of five people, three of whom are Canadian and two American. Financial support comes from Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Through a unique approach of litigating, publishing and communicating, WLF shapes public policy and fights activist lawyers, regulators and intrusive government agencies at the federal and state levels, in the courts and regulatory agencies across the country. WLF's litigation team brings original lawsuits, files amicus briefs, intervenes in court cases and petitions agencies for rulings.
