The Rutherford Institute, a nonprofit civil liberties organization based in Charlottesville, VA, is deeply committed to protecting the constitutional freedoms of every American and the integral human rights of all people through its extensive legal and educational programs. The Institute provides its legal services at no charge to those whose constitutional and human rights have been threatened or violated.

Established in 1986, The Sentencing Project works for a fair and effective U.S. criminal justice system by promoting reforms in sentencing policy, addressing unjust racial disparities and practices, and advocating for alternatives to incarceration. The Sentencing Project is dedicated to changing the way Americans think about crime and punishment.

The Tor Project is organized and operated exclusively for scientific, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including (a) to develop, improve and distribute free, publicly available tools and programs that promote free speech, free expression, civic engagement and privacy rights online; (b) to conduct scientific research regarding, and to promote the use of and knowledge about, such tools, programs and related issues around the world; (c) to educate the general public around the world about privacy rights and anonymity issues connected to Internet use; and (d) to carry out and conduct such other activities related to the stated mission.

Our mission is to empower women, girls, and their families by providing them with the skills and linkages to meet their self-defined needs, increase their access to care and support, and engage them so that they are best equipped to ‘own’ their health outcomes, improve their quality of life, and protect their rights.

The Cupcake Girls is a Portland and Las Vegas based nonprofit that provides confidential support to those involved in the sex industry as well as trauma-informed outreach, intensive case management, and referral services to provide prevention, and aftercare to those affected by sex trafficking. Today, we are the only organization in the country to partner with our clients without agenda in building comprehensive, holistic plans to help them pursue their goals and objectives, working to ensure that we’re matching the right solutions to the right individual, at the right time. We provide nonjudgmental support to empower our clients. Some of the services we offer are: medical & dental care, domestic violence & safe house support, counseling, government assistance & welfare, educational assistance, tax support, career coaching, and much more. She’s the First fights for a world where every girl chooses her own future. We team up with local organizations to make sure girls are educated, respected, and heard.

Free the Slaves works to free the 21 to 30 million people in slavery around the world today, and help them rebuild their lives, by transforming the social, economic and political factors that allow slavery to persist. We support community-driven interventions in partnership with local groups that help people to sustainable freedom and dismantle a region’s system of slavery. We convince governments, international development organizations and businesses to implement key changes required for global eradication. We document and disseminate leading-edge practices to help the anti-slavery movement work more effectively. We raise awareness and promote action by opinion leaders, decision makers and the public. Our mission is to spark a movement that is passionate about missions, education and by extending love and support to our local community. We do this by hosting mission's trips to help impoverished communities around the world. We organize and host empowerment seminars, conferences and workshops for women; and by offering educational forums to raise awareness about human sex trafficking here in Miami-Dade County & internationally. We believe, by being a voice for the voiceless we will lead people to FREEDOM.

dZi Foundation partners with underserved communities in remote regions of the Himalaya to build sustainable, locally-driven programs that improve quality of life through advancing education and health, while reducing poverty.
