Founded in 1993 to bridge the gap between policy and practice, The Center for Education Reform is the pioneer and leading voice for substantive change that transforms learning opportunities and outcomes for America’s children. The mission of the Center is to accelerate the growth of the education reform movement in ways that make available to families new and meaningful choices, give parents fundamental power over their children’s education, and allow teachers and schools to innovate in ways that transform student learning.

We are committed to improving the quality of life for LGBTQ+ people in and around Durham: ● through programming, resources, and networks of support; ● by acting as a hub for Durham's LGBTQ+ community; ● by sharing and affirming all LGBTQ+ lived experiences; and ● by educating our neighbors in order to enhance understanding of and sensitivity to LGBTQ+ issues.

The NAD advocates for the civil, human, and linguistic rights of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the United States. It works to protect access to American Sign Language and to advance equal access in education, employment, health care, communications and public life through legal advocacy, policy work, and public education.

The Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) of the Bar Association of San Francisco advances fairness and equality by providing pro bono legal services to low-income people and educational programs that foster diversity in the legal profession.

Global Greengrants Fund mobilizes resources for communities worldwide to protect our shared planet and work toward a more equitable world.

North Star Fund is a community foundation that exists to support local organizing in New York City and the Hudson Valley so that we can transform communities. We upend the traditional practices of philanthropy by vesting our decision-making power in leaders drawn from the communities where our grantees work. In a city and state deeply stratified by wealth, we welcome everyone and uplift the leadership and power of everyday New Yorkers to lead in the fight for equality and justice.

We challenge mass incarceration and racism by airing the voices of men and women in prison. We are also a women's rights organization dedicated to obtaining equal justice for women.
