A 501(c)(3) human rights organization, Just Detention International (JDI) seeks to end sexual violence in all forms of detention. JDI has three core goals for its work: to engender policies that ensure government accountability for prisoner rape; to change ill-informed and flippant public attitudes toward sexual assault behind bars; and to promote access to resources for survivors of this type of violence.

Sense International (India)'s vision is of a world in which all deafblind children and adults can be full and active members of society. Self-Help International (SHI) devotes its efforts to alleviating world hunger and poverty by providing opportunities to rural citizens that ultimately lead to self-reliance. Since its inception, Self-Help has served as a vessel; training, education, and opportunities are provided to rural citizens and whole communities in developing countries so that they can have better lives. MISSION STATEMENT: To alleviate hunger by helping people help themselves. SELF-HELP'S INITIATIVE Educate: We educate the people of the United States to understand the problems of life in developing countries particularly the awareness of the perpetual struggle by millions to produce and distribute food to battle persistent chronic hunger and poverty; we help tell their story Train: We train people in developing countries in the use of Quality Protein Maize (QPM). This increases crop yields and improves nutrition. We assist local farm families with planting, Improve: We improve infant and pre-school children's diets by administering an improved porridge feeding program. Made from QPM and pinches of barley malt, this combination has been proven to alleviate malnutrition, thwart sickness, and keep children in school so they can continue their education. Empower: We provide micro-credit loans for women to start small scale businesses. This availability of credit empowers women and increases their income - because they do not have access to traditional financing. Cooperate: We cooperate with other organizations and agencies in the introduction of appropriate farming practices or advancement in the battle against poverty and malnutrition.

Together we will create a world in which no girl or woman is bought or sold. At Apne Aap we fight to end sex-trafficking by preventing inter-generational prostitution. We provide education, legal support, gov’t IDs and access to welfare as well as to income generating programs to at-risk and prostituted women and children.

EarthRights is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment, which we define as “earth rights.” We specialize in fact-finding, legal actions against perpetrators of earth rights abuses, training grassroots and community leaders, and advocacy campaigns. Through these strategies, EarthRights seeks to end earth rights abuses, to provide real solutions for real people, and to promote and protect human rights and the environment in the communities where we work.

Our mission is to enable the world's poorest people to implement and sustain community-managed projects integrating clean water supply, toilets, and hygiene education.

WE funds the tools women need to work their way out of poverty, care for their families, and strengthen their communities. In partnership with high-impact organizations, WE funds proven poverty-alleviation strategies such as business loans, business startup and expansion assistance, skills training, and education—all as a holistic approach to economic empowerment of women living in poverty. WE is part of a global effort to end extreme poverty and help women become economically empowered and equal partners in society, who have the opportunity and ability to control their lives and futures.

CFI's mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable, marginalized and at-risk children in Battambang province by providing access to quality education; promoting child rights; ensuring physical safety, health and wellness; inspiring children and young adults to act as positive role models within their communities; fostering self-reliance among families and communities while sharing joy together.

FCI envisions a world where no woman suffers preventable pregnancy-related injury or death, where childbirth is safe for mothers and their babies, and where all people are able to enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights. FCI seeks to improve the health and well-being of women, girls, and newborns in the developing world by working to: - Make pregnancy and childbirth safer - Ensure universal access to reproductive health care and information - Empower women, young people, and communities

Feed Hope empowers the joyful children of Malawi out of extreme poverty. Our projects focus on four key areas: Clean water, Nutrition, Health and Education. We believe a holistic, community-based approach is the best way to effect sustainable change. Rather than focusing on a single issue like water or education, we tackle multiple issues to bring broad-based transformation; one village at a time. Some see poverty. We see possibility.
