Mi Patria aims to improve the quality of life of underserved Puerto Rican communities by providing sustainable and affordable housing, educational resources and support services to assist in their growth and development. Through our efforts, military veterans will strengthen their communities and lead positive change. It is proven volunteering has mental health benefits.We take action on the displacement of low to middle income Puerto Rican communities by protecting and expanding affordable sustainable housing to create resilient self-sufficient communities, prepared to sustain emergencies.

Founded in 2019 as the Latinx Bioethics grassroots coalition (LXB), Prospera Institute (PI) is the first Latinx-founded and led organization in the Commonwealth committed to exploring ethical and moral issues at the intersections of Latinx health, culture, and society. Founded in 1976, House of Ruth empowers women, children, and families to rebuild their lives and heal from trauma, abuse, and houselessness. Through 14 programs in Washington, DC, we serve women, children, and families who are striving to overcome childhood trauma, domestic violence, homelessness, mental health disorders, and poverty.  Our continuum of services encompasses enriched housing for families and single women; trauma-informed childcare; and free counseling to empower anyone, regardless of gender, who is a survivor of trauma and abuse.

Established in 1973, Interface Children & Family Services is the region's most comprehensive nonprofit social services agency providing thousands of local and 250,000 statewide clients annually with direct, responsive, wrap-around services to address the complex needs of client and community.As a critical safety net for children and families, we provide 30 distinct programs across seven major program areas including mental health and trauma treatment, domestic violence and child abuse prevention, human trafficking intervention, youth crisis and homeless services, justice services, and 211 information and assistance.

PTV works to alleviate the suffering and health consequences of state-sponsored torture, and provides the supportive framework necessary to restore the well-being, identity, and dignity of survivors of torture. We accomplish our mission by providing medical, psychological, and case management services to survivors of torture and asylum seekers from all over the world. PTV's clients are victims of state-sponsored, paramilitary, or tribal violence whose only 'crime' was to belong to a particular tribe, clan, political party, social group, or religion. We also serve victims of female genital mutilation, rape, trafficking, and sexual preference persecution. As the only torture treatment program in the Greater Los Angeles, an area that is home to the largest population of refugees and asylum seekers in the United States, PTV serves clients come from 65 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle east, and Asia.
