Chhahari is dedicated to the vision of a just and equitable society, where the mental health needs are addressed. Our purpose is to facilitate appropriate support and provide holistic treatments for the mentally ill, so that they can be re-integrated back into society.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all of those in need. We value hope, inclusion, empowerment, compassion and fairness. NAMI envisions a world where all people affected by mental illness live healthy, fulfilling lives supported by a community that cares.

Our mission is is to strengthen and preserve human rights, resilience, and dignity in “wounded” communities through culturally sensitive and innovative mental health, trauma, and resiliency training programs designed in partnership with local, community-based organizations in the US and internationally. Our integrative approach brings together emerging neuroscience research, and compassion-focused interventions while honoring traditional medicine, culture, and contemplative practices existing within each community.

The mission of the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law is to protect and advance the rights of adults and children who have mental disabilities. The Center envisions an America where people who have mental illnesses or developmental disabilities exercise their own life choices and have access to the resources that enable them to participate fully in their communities.

The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. MAF is duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. The InterAgency Council (IAC) is the membership organization representing the not-for-profit providers of services to individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities, and their families, in the metropolitan New York City area. Our membership includes some 125 corporations with over 900 programs providing services to more than 100,000 individuals each day. Services include infant assessment, early intervention, preschools, schools, recreation, family supports, employment programs, residential services, and clinical treatment programs.

The elderly victimized by unscrupulous business practices. The disabled fighting to have needed benefits restored.

America on Trial Inc. (AOT) is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering those affected by incarceration and police brutality. Our mission is to drive decarceration and systemic change by uniting communities impacted by mass incarceration, exploitative prison and jail labor, police brutality, and harmful media narratives. We aim to dismantle systemic injustices and promote a more equitable society.

The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.
