Child Advocates of Fort Bend

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Since 1991, we have provided a voice for more than 10,600 children. Incorporated in 1991, we began speaking on behalf of abused children in family court in 1992 with one part-time staff member, four volunteers and a 12 member board of directors. In 1996, we opened our children's advocacy center to expand our services to better serve the children. Currently, we have 30 full-time and 2 part-time employees, a volunteer base of more than 1,500, a 30 member board of directors, a 27 member children's advocacy center advisory council, a 17 member casa™ advisory council and partnership agreements with 23 agencies.

Turning Point Of Lehigh Valley

Turning Point is a safe place where ALL survivors of domestic and intimate partner abuse and their children can find refuge. Our Mission is to eliminate domestic and intimate partner abuse in the Lehigh Valley through survivor empowerment, and community education and engagement. We provide services in Lehigh and Northampton counties and reached over 3,500 people in fiscal year 2021-2022 through our trauma-informed, inclusive programs and services. Those include: a 24-hour Helpline, Emergency Safe House, Empowerment Counseling and Groups, Legal Advocacy, Education and Training, and Medical Advocacy.

Jackson County Casa

The mission of Jackson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is to be a child's voice in court. We recruit, train, and support lay volunteers who act as advocates on behalf of the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.   We have two goals: To secure a safe, permanent home for each child. To advocate for appropriate medical, educational, and therapeutic resources while the child is under Court jurisdiction.

Kates Club

Founded in 2003, Kate’s Club empowers children and teens, their families, and young adults facing life after the death of a parent, sibling, caregiver or someone important to them. Kate’s Club is an expert in the field of therapeutic and recreational programs that create meaningful experiences for participants and is the only stand-alone children’s bereavement organization in the southeast providing group-based, year-round and multi-year support at no cost to families. Kate’s Club vision is to create a world in which it’s okay to grieve for the ever-increasing number of grieving children and families.
