IMANI HOUSE's mission is to assist low-income youth, families, and immigrants to create viable neighborhoods where residents are decision makers who take responsibility for the improvement of their lives and surroundings. This is achieved through programs that provide Youth and Family Support Services Including Health Care, Health Education, Adult Literacy, and Information and Referral Services. Founded in Liberia W. Africa Imani House believes that anyone can achieve success and a higher quality of life if only they have access to appropriate information, skills and opportunities. Our programs in Liberia and Brooklyn use a bottom-up approach where grassroots people are recruited as trainers and employees and run our programs within their own communities.

Mercy in Action is a non-profit organization that focuses on the crisis in Maternal/Newborn/Child health care worldwide. We have been establishing and funding free birth centers for poor families in the Philippines since 1992, and to date more than 12,000 babies have been delivered free of charge for the poorest of the poor in Mercy In Action's Birth Centers, and literally tens of thousands of lives have been helped and healed in the medical outreaches. Mercy In Acton also teaches clinical internships, seminars and training retreats to prepare midwives, medics and nurses to meet the global shortage of skilled birth attendants, and to help primary health care workers prevent unnecessary child deaths.

The organization seeks to improve the quality of life of women and their families living in the rural areas of Maharashtra & Karnataka. Our primary objective is to empower rural women and fight injustices based on gender, caste and class. EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.

Our mission is to organize the targeted groups- Women, children Youths and marginalized communities against Caste/ Gender in-equality, other social evils and help them to improve their health and economical status. GlobeMed at Dartmouth is a student-led nonprofit organization based at Dartmouth College which aims to improve the health of people living in poverty. Through our partnership with the Kachin Women's Association Thailand (KWAT), an NGO based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, we seek to support Burmese women and children displaced by ethnic conflict in the Kachin State of Burma.

GENCAD's vision is to be an exemplary organisation that contributes to the socio-economic development of pastoralist communities in the Horn of Africa. Pastoralist communities experience extreme poverty, lack of education, political and economic marginalization in the Horn of Africa. GENCAD's mission is to increase their access to educational opportunities, health services, and to empower these communities to actively participate in and take ownership of their socio-economic development.

BridgIT's Program objective is to provide improved drinking water to rural areas in developing countries. This is achieved by delivering suitable, accessible and sustainable water solutions closer within each rural community relieving the economic and health burdens of searching long distances for long periods of time to collect water from open contaminated and often dangerous sources.

Contribute to the improvement of the quality and living conditions of families in extreme poverty in the municipality of Ayapel, Cordoba, working mainly with mothers, children and adolescents in the development of programs and projects with emphasis on education, health and environment To foster and expand their development opportunities and life chances with well-being, creativity and productivity, respecting their goals and customs and taking advantage of resources and knowledge.
