Founded in 1969, UNFPA is the lead United Nations sexual and reproductive health and rights agency. Today, UNFPA works in more than 150 countries to ensure every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every woman and girl can reach her fullest potential. USA for UNFPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness among Americans about global sexual and reproductive health, mobilizing support to provide lifesaving care to women and girls worldwide, and advocating for gender equality.

Overpopulation threatens the quality of life for people everywhere. Population Connection is the national grassroots population organization that educates young people and advocates progressive action to stabilize world population at a level that can be sustained by Earth's resources.

Casa de Esperanza mobilizes Latinas and Latin@ communities to end gender-based violence. We were founded in 1982 when a small group of Latina activists created an emergency shelter for Latinas who were denied domestic violence services from mainstream systems. For 38 years, we have served a highly marginalized population in culturally relevant ways that translate to greater safety, community connectedness, and self-sufficiency for Latin@s who experience domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. Our work builds and leverages the communities’ strengths, cultural assets, and leadership to shift beliefs and behaviors within family and social networks, which we believe will create the conditions and solutions for thriving.

We are a global champion for the human rights of women and girls. We use our powerful networks to find, fund, and amplify the courageous work of women who are building social movements and challenging the status quo. By shining a spotlight on critical issues, we rally communities of advocates who take action and invest money to empower women.

OUR MISSION: Uniting People with Opportunities. The United Planning Organization, the designated community action agency for Washington, DC, was established December 10, 1962 to plan, coordinate, and implement human services programs for low-income residents in the Nation's Capital. For over 50 years, UPO has been in the forefront of the war on poverty. As the catalyst for economic security and growth for all Washington, DC residents, UPO has laid the groundwork for innovative social service programs such as weatherization and energy conservation services, Head Start, workforce development training and youth development. Today, UPO continues to provide residents with comprehensive resources for early childhood education; youth development; employment and training; family and community services; case management and referrals to other supportive services.

Eliminating domestic violence by funding prevention and education initiatives.

HER Fund was set up on March 8, 2004 by a group of women activists in honour of International Women's Day. Our main objective is to raise funds and give grants to support work by women, with women and for women in Hong Kong. Next to this, an important aspect of our work is to raise awareness of women's position and rights in Hong Kong. Our mission is mobilizing resources and investing in empowering women and girls to create change in communities for gender equality.

The Population and Community Development Association (PDA) is a non-governmental organization operating in Thailand that works to create a sustainable future for communities by working directly with people most in need, including people affected by HIV/AIDS, the rural poor, and children. It is chaired by former Thai Senator, Mr. Mechai Viravaidya.

Mothers For Justice United Inc works to support bereaved mothers, elevate their voices to advocate for justice, and eliminate race-based violence in minority communities by police and vigilantes. Mothers for Justice United is engaged in advocacy on two main, somewhat overlapping fronts: police accountability and reform; and mental health, particularly as it interacts with policing.

The Kateri Tekakwitha Fund exists to empower Guatemalan women to break the cycle of poverty by having a positive impact on their lives, families, and communities through collaboration, educational scholarships, and support.

Zawadi Fund International supports the initiatives of the Children and Youth Empowerment Centre, Nyeri, Kenya. In collaboration with the CYEC, we seek to develop effective and sustainable solutions for the street-dwelling children, including education and enterprise development, to enable these young people to lead fulfilling lives.

Auroville is one of the world's great centers of environmental education with projects in 14 Indian states and outreach to 30 countries spanning the globe. Auroville Unity Fund is committed to provide the financial means to Auroville in securing the land, by consolidating and acquiring strategic lands for water, organic farming, reforestation and expanding the work, demo sites, training and outreach in regenerative work and culture.
