Volunteers Around the World (VAW) is a humanitarian organization and social enterprise devoted to improving the standard of living for those that live in some of the most poverty stricken communities of the world. Our focus is to provide communities with access to medical, dental and veterinary treatment, medication, nutritional security, clean water and health education.

The Habitat International Coalition (HIC) is the global network for rights related to habitat. Our mission is to save children from poverty. We support the programmes of the Sisters of Mary who have established schools - the majority of which are boarding schools - for the poorest children from all faiths worldwide. They provide them with access to food, healthcare and shelter as well as quality accredited education and vocational training tailored to the skill needs of the local economy. With the chance of an education these children can realise their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives - permanently. When we educate one child we help whole families and our impact reaches far beyond each of our 20,000 students currently enrolled. Our work lifts entire communities out of their lives of suffering and despair. We give these children and their families hope for a long lasting and brighter future. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, more than 150,000 children have already graduated from these programmes and thousands more lives have been changed for the better.

Coopera's MISSION is to carry out projects that improve the quality of life of our beneficiaries and contribute to reducing poverty and injustice in the world. We are committed to Education as the engine of progress. Access to education at any of its levels, education and professional training are the objective of our projects and are always present in them, whether they are educational or from other areas. We work in Development Cooperation Projects in African and South American countries in areas of education, training and professional training; in agricultural, environmental and food sovereignty projects. We work with communities and mainly with women. In Spain and Europe we mainly work on social awareness through Education for Development projects. For this we have our own Development Education Strategy. A third pillar of our activity is the Social Projects with which we try to promote people, especially women in long-term unemployment, from our immediate environment. We also work in health protection programs for children in Africa

Taghyeer Organization/ We Love Reading Program is an innovative model that provides a practical, cost efficient, sustainable, grassroots approach empowering communities from low and mid income communities around the world to create changemakers through reading. WLR supports the activism of local volunteers to increase reading levels among children 2-10 by focusing on the readaloud experience to instill the love of reading for pleasure among children to become lifelong learners. We aim to create system change. We create changemakers by recruiting and training adults and youth from local communities to provide read-aloud sessions for local children in safe, public spaces. Each year, WLR volunteers read to tens of thousands of children in public parks, community centers, mosques and other faith-based settings, nurseries, refugee camps, and other locales. We serve diverse populations and communities irrespective of gender, religion, social status, disability, literacy level, educational experience, etc. The training is either implemented in face-to-face settings or via our online platform to allow reaching wider audience of people wanting to volunteer and become reading ambassadors.

To work towards achieving equality, freedom and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people through advocacy, collaborative actions, and by educating and informing relevant international and regional institutions as well as governments, media and civil society. 3. To empower our members and other human rights organisations in promoting and protecting human rights, irrespective of people's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and/or sex characteristics and to facilitate cooperation and solidarity among ILGA regions and members. 4. To promote the diversity and strengths of persons of diverse SOGIESC around the world.

Agua Pura Para El Pueblo is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization founded to help communities and families obtain safe, clean drinking water and improve their sanitation. Over one billion people world wide lack access to safe water, and a million children die each year due to preventable diarrheal diseases. With a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean, we promote simple small scale methods and techniques that people can use to make their water safe to drink. We also give seminars and demonstrations both in the United States and in Latin America to other nongovernmental organizations and to community groups on methods of water purification.
