The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

The Giving Back Fund is a national public charity with the following goals: To help cultivate a new group of philanthropists within the entertainment and sports industries, with a particular emphasis on groups often underrepresented in traditional philanthropy such as people of color, women, and youth. Find ways and means to provide free medical treatment and services in the United States to needy individuals anywhere in the world inflicted with injuries caused by war and natural catastrophes Particular emphasis placed on treating children who lost limbs and/or have facial scars and getting prostheses and physical and occupational rehabilitation enabling them to lead as normal lives as possible

SOC-F raises money for one incredibly worthwhile purpose: to provide medical, financial, and other support to SOF members and their families in ways that are often not met through other sources–what we call the “gaps.”

Their mission is to increase access, retention and graduation rates of students attending our member schools, identify and prepare member schools’ students who have significant leadership potential, and create a pipeline for employers of highly-qualified member-schools, students and alumni.

LEAP's mission is to develop the strengths and talents of young leaders who create and implement year-round, community- and school-based programming designed to achieve positive academic and social outcomes for children living in high poverty urban neighborhoods. Our goal is to create and implement a multi-tier mentoring model where young people of all ages are welcomed, educated and provided opportunities to grow within LEAP.

FEEST is an organization led by youth of color in South Seattle and South King County working to improve health in our schools. Focusing on the need for more healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food at school, FEEST centers young people as leaders toward concrete changes in our food systems. Our mission is to set the table for young people to transform the health and equity of their community by gathering around food & working towards systems change. At the foundation of our work are youth-led dinners where students gather around food and build community with peers. Breaking bread together builds lasting connections that become a foundation for long-term organizing. Rooted in radical joy, we are building power toward policy changes that increase food access for all students.
