Little Footprints, Big Steps Child Protection Organization

Our facility is not an orphanage, but a transitional safe house. Children rescued from situations of abuse, slavery, homelessness or severe neglect have been placed in our care by Haitian authorities. We provide a family setting for these children, with security and 24 hour supervision. We provide at least 3 nutritionally dense meals daily and try to accomodate each individual child's dietary needs for optimal health by providing supplements such as vitamins and special foods. In our facility, children will recieve basic medical care and regular medical check ups. If a child has more serious medical conditions, we will arrange for these to be addressed and treated. Shelter, tutoring, and therapeutic services are also provided to children in our safe house. Our goal is to help these children, not only physically, but also in developing psychosocial and coping skills that their traumatic pasts may have deprived them of.

Peace Sisters

Peace Sisters assists over 470 underprivileged girls to access educational opportunities in Togo, West Africa. Peace Sisters was founded by Tina Kampor, a Togolese American woman who moved to California in 2003 and worked hard so she would be able to send money back to Togo to help girls who might otherwise have dropped out of school. School fee payments, solar study lamps, ID Cards, menstrual pads, and basic health insurance are some of the ways that Peace Sisters helps girls to succeed in their education. In 2021, Peace Sisters celebrated the first college graduation by a girl in our program!

Feeding America

Our mission is to advance change in America by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food for all in partnership with food banks, policymakers, supporters, and the communities we serve. Through a network of more than 200 food banks, 21 statewide food bank associations, and over 60,000 partner agencies, food pantries and meal programs, we helped provide 6.6 billion meals to tens of millions of people in need last year. Feeding America also supports programs that prevent food waste and improve food security among the people we serve; brings attention to the social and systemic barriers that contribute to food insecurity in our nation; and advocates for legislation that protects people from going hungry.

Sisters Of Life

The Sisters of Life are women who are in love with Love – Love incarnate, crucified, and Risen – and captivated by the truth of the beauty of every human person, created in God’s image and likeness. We believe every person is valuable and sacred. We believe that every person is good, loved, unique and unrepeatable. We believe that every person’s life has deep meaning, purpose and worth. In fact, we give our lives for that truth.
