Founded in 2000, Glamourgals organizes and inspires teen volunteers to provide ongoing companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers to women in senior homes. Through this experience: Elderly residents in care feel a renewed sense of community and self-worth. Teen volunteers gain essential leadership skills demonstrating empathy and compassion through our intergenerational programming.

Little City is dedicated to serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing the best options and opportunities to live safely, learn continuously, explore creatively and work productively throughout their lifetime. Herzl Camp is a welcoming, independent Jewish camp in Webster Wisconsin. Since Herzl was founded in 1946, over 30,000 campers have spent their summer immersed in joyful Judaism on the shores of Devils Lake.

Yet even after they return to the love and support of their families and communities, many will struggle. Physical and hidden injuries are challenging on their own. But sometimes, these injuries can lead to a cascade of other trouble — unemployment, depression, substance abuse, even suicide. Our mission is to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home. That’s why we find and fund innovative programs in communities where veterans, their families and caregivers live and work. That’s how we tackle the problems that can prevent our veterans from fulfilling their dreams for the next chapter of their lives.
