Our four program areas—health, food security, education, and economic development—represent a well-rounded strategy for not just giving our partner communities a proverbial fish, but helping them learn how to live in ways that are self-sustaining.

To provide transitional housing and life skills training for formerly incarcerated men.

To enable young children living in poverty in the urban slums of Uganda to have the health, confidence and ability to grow and become the change in their community.

Orphanage: To provide directions and funding for Prince of Peace Children’s Home (POPCH), that it will be a loving, caring and secure environment for these orphans with special needs. Cultural Exchange: To promote and help the adopted children to learn more about their culture and history of their birth country; finding their own identities; building new friendships within the adoption community; thus promoting understanding and peace between countries. Education Opportunities:To provide educational exchange opportunities for interns and volunteers. Policy Improvement: To work closely with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, People’s Republic of China, to assist and provide expert advice, on policy improvements to help social problems. Social Relief: In conjunction with other organizations, to assist groups affected by wars, natural calamities, and problems in life.

To provide comfort and joy to kids and young adults (up to age 30, and their families) enduring cancer and bone marrow transplants.

CLARE provides services to all those seeking recovery from alcoholism and substance abuse. Eleven programs in four Los Angeles-area locations meet the recovery needs of individuals, families and the community through a culturally sensitive, individualized, outcomes-oriented, "whole" person model of care. Programs are based on over 30 years of experience with Social Model treatment and the 12-step program developed by Alcoholics Anonymous. CLARE believes that recovery involves individual effort, the non-judgmental support of others and a clean, secure and sober environment.

BGF seeks to empower the disadvantaged, particularly low-income and disenfranchised youth to achieve positive legacy through business. BGF programs include business, financial & entrepreneurial curriculum and events that inspire the disadvantaged, enhance their business skills and do business with a giving heart. KATHA is a "profit-for-all" nonprofit. We work in the broad areas of language, culture and translation, as well as poverty alleviation. Story and storytelling are two powerful tools we use as agents of change, teachers and publishers.
