The mission of Canines With a Cause is to harness the untapped potential of shelter dogs to heal emotional and psychological wounds, provide unconditional love, support and companionship, and give a new leash on life to those in need through assistance, therapy or service dog work. Making a difference, one person and one dog at a time!

To assist children from a low-income, limited English speaking environment, develop to their fullest potential by learning to read, comprehend and speak English, while understanding that people care about them as individuals. We recruit and train volunteer tutors to work in schools that have a preponderance of low income children who come from homes where no English is spoken.

Our mission is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in building the Kingdom of God through a lifestyle of living and giving Jesus.

We are an international and interdenominational Christian mission society working in more than 1000 locations spread out on every continent on the globe. We've been active in Quebec since 1974. We have three locations in the province, a training center in Dunham, a center focusing on urban ministry in Montreal and a team in Lanaudière.
