UsAgainstAlzheimer’s exists to conquer Alzheimer’s disease. We take on the toughest problems as we bring all of “Us” together to break down barriers to equitable brain health; advocate for research that will speed treatments to market; and drive changes that matter most to people living with the disease. The unquestionable complexity of this challenge to stop Alzheimer’s fuels our determination to overcome it. Our work is driven by the urgency to find effective treatments and the prevention steps needed to reach the time where no one is lost to Alzheimer’s.
The mission of Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors; our vision is a community free of domestic violence. To that end we work to educate the public on the dynamics of intimate partner violence; promote healthy dating relationships among adolescents and teens to prevent future violence; offer safety and shelter for battered women and their children; restore power, self-sufficiency, and control to survivors; and create an effective and coordinated community response to intimate partner violence.
1) Provide timely humanitarian relief in emergencies to help people whose lives have been threatened by conflicts and natural disasters. 2) Assist communities whose social foundations have been destroyed by providing rehabilitation and development cooperation for self-sustainability. 3) Pursue conflict prevention and resolution through our field activities. 4) Raise public awareness by disseminating information on assistance needs. 5) Put forward proposals for improving the effectiveness of relief-providing mechanisms in society.
The primary purpose of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is to provide a safe haven for children, birth through age 12, thereby preventing child abuse and neglect, and to support the needs of families. Children are cared for in the Nursery for any situation that may jeopardize their health and safety, including: parental stress, domestic violence, homelessness, and other family crises. The Crisis Nursery services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at five locations throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles' regions and are free of charge.
The mission of the Pregnancy Decision Health Centers (PDHC) is to empower individuals to make healthy life choices consistent with the God-given intrinsic value of every human life. PDHC provides pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, education in abortion and alternatives, adoption referrals, parenting classes, material aid support, sexual risk avoidance education, and abortion recovery services for women dealing with difficult emotional aftermaths of abortion. Each of these services are intended to support women in their pregnancy, encourage childbirth, prevent abortion and strengthen healthy families.
South Africa is experiencing epidemic levels of gender-based violence, GBV, and victims and survivors of GBV are being grossly violated by the system designed to protect them. Lawyers Against Abuse, LvA works to create systemic change to prevent abuse, protect victims and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. To achieve this, LvA is on a mission to empower victims with direct legal representation; to encourage victims to claim their rights; to catalyse improved system response through targeted impact education; and to support and respect the rights of victims in the process.
The Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center prevents the initial or deeper involvement of girls in the justice system. We reform the harmful policies and practices that contribute to the unfair, inequitable treatment of girls.Founded in 2013, the Policy Center to date has served more than 4,000 girls, trained more than 3,000 girl-serving professionals, released 27 independent reports, and advocated for the successful passage of 5 Florida laws that improve the safety, fair treatment, and well-being of girls and women. FSC is a counseling agency in Galveston County serving individuals of all ages and their families. National Outcome Data is collected annually measuring the change in Parents Anonymous® Parents/Caregivers, Children and Youth. We utilize a National Database, Fidelity Tools, and have Certified Staff to operate Parents Anonymous® Programs. Parents Anonymous® is both an intervention and prevention program where parents and their children and youth are empowered to create positive and long-term change for their families.

CHRF cares for thousands of children around the world from orphanages, schools, and feeding centers in Central America, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia, to a full surgery, dental, and medical clinic and children's home complex in Mexico...to child immunization clinics, AIDS prevention classes, and clean-water projects in Kenya, to assisting disaster stricken families in the U.S.

Originally founded as Womens Transitional Living Center, we were the first domestic violence agency in Orange County and the third in the United States. For over 45 years, weve been a committed partner and solid presence in our community. As Radiant Futures, our work continues to evolve as we provide inclusive, comprehensives services to everyone impacted by domestic violence and human trafficking. To build a community free of harm, we also equip our neighbors with education to prevent violence and abuse.
