The Holy Trinity Neighborhood Center (HTNC) continues a proud tradition that began in 1899 when the Church of the Holy Trinity (CHT) on East 88th Street was built by New York City philanthropist Serena Rhinelander. Founded as a mission parish, the church sought to serve a local population made of mostly immigrants with a variety of programs that have been adapted over the years to meet the changing needs of our community. Holy Trinity Neighborhood Center was established as a 501(c)3 organization in the 1980s specifically to respond to the large number of homeless and impoverished people whose needs were clearly not being met by governmental or charitible organizations -- and who reflected the larger crisis of poverty in the city as a whole. HTNC provided an opportunity for those interested in supporting our work, but not of our faith, to join in helping us help others. However, HTNC and its programs were always envisioned as an integral part of the Church of the Holy Trinity and an arm of its mission, and its bylaws require that three members of the HTNC board must be members of the church’s vestry. HTNC currently has four core programs: a nightly shelter for 10-12 men who come to us as a part of the Emergency Shelter Network; a Senior Lunch on Tuesdays; a Neighborhood Supper on Saturdays; and a Thanksgiving Dinner delivered to the homebound. These programs viewed holistically are our parish’s response to the continuing acute needs of our neighborhood's elderly, hungry and homeless population(s).

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

Bosana Foundation is a respected international advocacy organization dedicated to empowering and improving the economic and social well being of marginalized population through the delivery of targeted education, scholarships and livelihood development programs.We focus on education because the youth of today are the decision makers of tomorrow. We also work with women because they such integral and vital parts of both family and community. The Bosana Foundation believes that through our various projects, we are empowering and educating women and youth so that history does not repeat itself and that Bosnia and Herzegovina can once again be a country which boasts peaceful multi-ethnic and multi-cultural traditions.

Edu Fun is a volunteer-led, non-profit Public Benefit Organisation. We partner with the Diepsloot Combined School (DCS) located in the informal settlement of Diepsloot, Johannesburg, South Africa. Our mission is to improve English literacy for Grade 2 and 3 students. We also mend school uniforms, do health checks for students and provide support and financial assistance for learners from Diepsloot going on to University. In addition, Edu Fun is evolving to include students from non-fee paying schools in rural, urban and informal settlements outside of Diepsloot to address the varied educational, literacy and material needs of the population.

Playgroup is a special place where children's unique thinking flourishes. We are an early school made up of educators and families who believe in the importance of developmentally appropriate practices, hands-on learning, arts exposure and social guidance for the youngest of people. Reflecting the ethnic and social-economic diversity of our local community is of paramount importance. All children and families are supported to make meaningful connections with themselves, their peers and the greater community.

Patient AirLift Services (PALS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable aviation organization. Our mission is to connect the charitable aviation community to people in need. We arrange free air transportation for individuals requiring medical diagnosis, treatment or follow-up, for compassionate assistance, for military personnel/family requests through the PALS for Patriots Program, or for humanitarian purposes through the PALS Sky Hope Disaster Relief Program.

Trinity Services' mission is to provide the highest quality person-directed services and supports to people with disabilities and mental illness so that they may flourish and live full and abundant lives.This mission goes beyond options for housing, education, skills training, employment services, and health care. Trinity supports each person to stay connected to family, experience meaningful relationships, join groups, volunteer—and to remain active, valued members of their communities.

Our vision is to see every impoverished or vulnerable child achieve their potential by giving them the opportunity for a brighter future through education. Working with our network of ministry partners, we help thousands of children across the globe with their basic needs of food, clothing, healthcare, and shelter. We provide the connection through child sponsorship that gives sponsors the opportunity to brighten the life of a vulnerable child through prayer, encouragement and financial support.

We believe that all human beings deserve to have stable housing and to live full and productive lives. The Women’s Daytime Drop-In Center empowers women and children to move from the streets to a home by providing a safe daytime refuge. We provide essential services such as hot meals, groceries and provide hygiene supplies, diapers, housing resource counseling, case management and domestic violence services, a variety of referral services, and transitional housing for five single parent families. We are a Housing Resource center for Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville families. We also connect our families and single unhoused women with other local and regional community resources whose services may fall out of our scope. All of our efforts broaden our client's sense of expanded community support. We are uplifted daily by the many spontaneous conversations among our clients as they wait in line at our hospitality window for our essential services. Community and resource connection is key to emerging from homelessness.

Denis Miki Foundation supports the development of underdeveloped communities and groups through empowerment, capacity building, education for sustainable development, talent promotion and wealth creation. Our mission is to reduce poverty by running community empowerment programs and solutions like the DMF Impact Hub and Efeti Ventures Inc. We support the development of underdeveloped communities and groups through capacity building, education for sustainable development, health, peacebuilding, leadership, creativity, wealth creation, policy advocacy and activism for peaceful and sustainable and communities. Our goals are to: 1. Inspire - Inspire youth and women toward social action, increasing both personal, national and international aspirations. 2. Equip - Equip youth and women with social and emotional skills - real world skills that unlock opportunities for future success. 3. Connect - Connect youth and women across diversity, creating valuable networks and building understanding. 4. Deploy - Bring youth and women into service and action for sustainable and innovative community development.

We empower survivors of domestic violence and their children to believe in themselves and build new lives filled with dignity, respect, safety, and hope. Empowerhouse gives victims the time, space, and tools to heal their hearts, renew their spirits, restore their connections, and rebuild their lives. We break the cycle of domestic violence through shelter, housing, support, education, prevention, and intervention.Empowerhouse serves the Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg in Virginia.

Bliss Kid Yoga is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit dedicated to nurturing community health and wellness by providing both free and affordable yoga and mindfulness programs for children, families and educators. Bliss Kid Yoga specializes in programs for sensitive populations including children and families who are survivors of abuse, children with exceptionalities, English language learners, economically challenged families and more. Bliss Kid Yoga combines yogic exercise, breathing, meditation, mindfulness, cooperative games and art to equip children with skills and strategies to thrive beyond their time in the program. Our mission is to empower children to care for themselves and others in a more mindful way, supporting the well-being of the community.
