Parent to Parent support, the formal "matching" of a parent or primary caregiver with an experienced, trained Support Parent - someone who understands because they have "been there" - has been shown through research to be effective in helping families find the resources they need to navigate health and education systems and to access the support they need to experience the fullness of life in their community of choice.
