Our programs include Adoption & Permanency Services, Child’s Way®, the Pediatric Specialty Hospital, the Pediatric VIEW Program, therapy services and Counseling. In addition to these programs, we offer free housing for patients and families in our on-site Lemieux Family Center.

Parents Anonymous® is a trauma-informed practice utilizing mutual support (the giving and getting of help), parent leadership (seeking solutions and becoming empowered), and shared leadership® (working together) to achieve personal growth that improves protective factors, increases family functioning and mitigate and prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences by improving health and mental health well-being of Parents/Caregivers and their Children & Youth. National Outcome Data is collected annually measuring the change in Parents Anonymous® Parents/Caregivers, Children and Youth. We utilize a National Database, Fidelity Tools, and have Certified Staff to operate Parents Anonymous® Programs. Parents Anonymous® is both an intervention and prevention program where parents and their children and youth are empowered to create positive and long-term change for their families.

Postpartum Society of Florida Inc.

Founded in 2012, Postpartum Society of Florida (PPSF) volunteers are committed and passionate about easing the transition from pregnancy to parenthood in the perinatal period through education, preparation, and support. Our goal is to reduce overall incidence of PMADs in the perinatal population (currently 1 in 5 women suffer a PMAD or "postpartum depression" as it is popularly termed) quality education, community building, and reduction of isolation and escalation of crisis. Through our programs such helpp scholarship for providers (34 providers trained in PMADs in 17 counties), SisterMom mentorship training (12 volunteers trained in 8 counties), mitunes: mother-infant music (more than 2,000 copies distributed in west coast Florida and online), web-based perinatal support locator (new! ), and our outstanding free mother-to-mother peer support groups and warmlines in the Sarasota/Bradenton area (more than 2,000 personal contacts per year), we can making powerful strides toward improving maternal (and paternal! ) - infant health and wellness in the state of Florida.
