The mission of the Jodie Matta-Dillinger Fund (JMDF) is to provide advocacy, compassion, and sensitivity to cancer patients, their loved ones, and caregivers during and after treatment(s). The Jodie Matta-Dillinger Fund will provide helpful resources and support in our service region through programs, initiatives and outreach efforts originating from the JMD Cancer Resource Center located at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. The JMDF will work collaboratively with UPMC McKeesport Hospital and our community partners. The JMDF will also pursue new opportunities to enhance our ability to address the diverse needs of those that we serve.
Provides financial relief, practical support, and education to local, low-income cancer patients and their families—helping with transportation, food, psycho-social needs, and grants so patients can focus on treatment and recovery.

In addition to furthering the "B+" (Be Positive) legacy of the Foundation's 14 year old namesake, The B+ Foundation provides financial support to families of children nationwide while also providing grants for cutting-edge childhood cancer research. Finally, The B+ Foundation is engaged in advocacy efforts to increase awareness and funding in the battle against childhood cancers.
The Mission of the Broyles Foundation is “To turn the crisis of caring for a person with Dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease into a positive life event ensuring the best quality of life for all involved.” The Foundation has printed and distributed over 850,000 copies of both the “Alzheimer’s Caregivers Playbook”, and the “Tips and Strategies for Alzheimer’s Caregivers” tip booklet. Members of the Foundation trainers are certified for Continuing Education Units, and have conducted over 135 training conferences for healthcare professionals. The Broyles Foundation successfully lobbied the State of Arkansas to require CNA's to have training in Dementia Care and created the Barbara Broyles Alzheimer's and Dementia training program with the Arkansas Department of Health. The Broyles Foundation provides training to at home caregivers at no charge. The Foundation also works with caregivers daily via telephone and in small group settings, providing much-needed support for those struggling with caring for Alzheimer’s patients.
