The Center for a New Economy (CNE) is Puerto Rico's first and foremost policy think tank, an independent, nonpartisan group that advocates for the development of a new economy for Puerto Rico. Over the last 20 years, CNE has championed the cause of a more productive and stable Puerto Rico through its offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. We seek to inform current policy debates and find solutions to today's most pressing and complex economic development problems by rigorously analyzing hard data and producing robust empirical research. CNE is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that does not solicit or accept government funding. It relies solely on funding by individuals, private institutions and philanthropic organizations.

Our co-founder Marion Austin strongly believed in empowering our Haitian children with the tools that they need to succeed, knowing they could one day become Christian leaders and role models in the Haitian society.

The organization is operated exclusively for religious charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 c 3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code and for such related purposes as may be permitted to religious charitable and educational corporations which are organized under Florida Not For Profit Corporation Code. This includes for such purposes to provide financial material moral and spiritual support primarily to the members of the Compassionate Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Inc. CFSOP and to other missionaries in their ministries which exist to defend provide for and promote the dignity of the poor the unborn and all human life and the administering of homes and centers to provide essential basic human care evangelization education and Christian works of mercy to abandoned and neglected women children the elderly street children and orphans and the destitute poor.

The main purpose of the Project for the People of Paraguay is to help the poor of Paraguay move from poverty to independence by implementing and/or supporting self-help, self-development programs that involve the family and their communities. The PPP emphasizes the care of the total person by meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of poor families. Farm of the Child USA is a Catholic, non-profit organization that supports Finca del Niño-Honduras, a mission modeled on the Holy Family that educates, protects, and promotes healing and spiritual formation for orphaned and abandoned children, and families in the local community.
