Food For The Poor, one of the largest international relief and development organizations in the nation, does much more than feed millions of hungry children and families living in poverty primarily in 15 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. This interdenominational Christian ministry provides emergency relief assistance, water, medicine, educational materials, homes, support for vulnerable children, care for the aged, skills training and micro-enterprise development assistance.

Our mission is to bring clean water to schools in developing countries with a focus on Haiti and now expanding into India.

As participants in God’s Mission of restoring humanity to wholeness, we work to end the human suffering caused by the global water crisis.  We apply our engineering expertise, international development experience, and faith in God to help the world’s most vulnerable communities establish, own, and operate community-wide safe water systems.

Global H2O envisions the day when everyone in the world can take a safe drink of water. It is easy to take for granted ready access to a safe supply of drinking water. Yet nearly one billion people lack this most basic commodity. Creating accessible, safe water supplies in developing countries liberates people to live healthier, fuller, more productive lives.
