Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Washington, DC, the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) is the region’s largest & fastest-growing network of peacebuilding groups, envisioning a more just and equal future in which Israelis and Palestinians have built the trust necessary to live together in peace, dignity, and security. ALLMEP’s theory of change is rooted in people-to-people partnerships, focused on the work of our 160+ member organizations. ALLMEP strives to radically raise the capacity and visibility of the field, fostering cooperation, and creating a culture for ourselves and our members of best-in-class programming as these NGOs work together to improve and strengthen Arab-Jewish, Israeli-Palestinian relations through people-to-people peacebuilding.
The American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat Al-Salam encourages, supports and publicizes the projects of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, the Oasis of Peace. For more than thirty years, Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam has been dedicated to dialogue, cooperation and a genuine and durable peace between Arabs and Jews, Palestinians and Israelis. Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel have chosen to live and work together as equals in this community to promote trust, understanding and mutual respect well beyond its own borders. At Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam, the bilingual, binational, multicultural Primary School, the School for Peace, the Pluralistic Spiritual Center, and other projects, serve the village and beyond reaching thousands of Jewish and Palestinian youth and adults.
Chief Seattle Club's mission statement is to provide a sacred space to nurture, affirm, and renew the spirit of Urban Native Peoples. Founded in 1970, the Club is a day center for homeless/low-income Native Americans in Seattle, Washington. Seven days a week, 364 days a year, 100~ members come to the Club for basic needs such as hot meals, showers, and laundry services. We gain their trust and act as a gateway to a broad range of coordinated social services, including health care; mental health; housing assistance; legal aid; access to benefits; substance abuse intake and referrals; cultural, art, and spiritual activities. We partner with a variety of non-profit and government agencies to leverage coordinated on-site services to our members.
