In 2000, Episcopal priest Bill Rankin and renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Charlie Wilson launched GAIA to increase health equity globally and to bring life-saving treatment to one of the countries most impacted by the AIDS epidemic. Today, with GAIA’s support, Malawi is one of the first African countries to meet UNAIDS 2020 90-90-90 treatment targets, even in the most remote districts with the highest HIV prevalence, where we work. Throughout our history, GAIA has adapted our services to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare. We meet the immediate needs of the population by providing community-based health services and health education while also strengthening Malawi's healthcare workforce for the long-term by accelerating health workforce development and promoting equitable deployment of frontline providers. In 2007, GAIA Malawi was formally established as an independent, but closely aligned, entity to the U.S. organization. With its own self-selected Board of Directors and a 100% Malawian staff, GAIA Malawi works closely with GAIA U.S. to design and execute cost-effective program responses to the evolving health needs of Malawi’s rural population. All program interventions are developed with key input from the communities served and executed in partnership with the Government of Malawi, Ministry of Health and Population, and local and international partners. GAIA believes that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live or who they are.

Denise Louie Education Center promotes school and life readiness by providing multi-cultural early learning services to children and families, especially those who need our services the most. We will respect and preserve each child and family's individuality, cultural heritage and home language. We will promote personal and social responsibility with integrity and love in an environment defined by social justice and peace.

The primary purpose to join and organize Ecuadorians, their families and friends or other nations that live in California so that jointly we can carry on projects of assistance to those in need in Ecuador and in the United States. AECalifornia carries on its objectives by social activities, intellectual, cultural, sports and events of service to the community. The organization is open to the public at large and welcomes anyone who shares our ideas and not for profit activities, our mission and objectives. We share friendship, typical Ecuadorian food and that of other countries. Together we plan projects to help our brothers and sisters in need in Ecuador and in the United States. We share our friendship, culture, music, singing and dancing and organize activities to raise funds to carry on our charitable activities in support of hospitals, nursing homes, emergency relief, medical missions, for children and the needy. We support the medical missions from American doctors going to Ecuador to perform surgeries on Ecuadorian children and the poor.

Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. Sisterhood Agenda's social impact is expanded through partnerships with agencies, individuals and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, India, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other geographic regions. Arts To End Genocide combines the power of art and technology to bridge cultural divides and to create a dialogue about human rights between children around the world. Artists have always had the power to touch people on a profound emotional level. Today, new media technology enables us to impact a broader audience. The message being delivered is one of tolerance and human rights. We engage, educate and activate in a call for social justice.

International Institute of Los Angeles was founded in 1914 by the YMCA to provide a variety of services to underserved populations. IILA has expanded to provide a variety of services to immigrant communities throughout the Los Angeles area. In addition to refugee resettlement and immigration services IILA provides employment and training, childcare, nutrition programs for children and adults, senior services, transportation, and youth and family services. IILA's philosophy is to assist individuals and families achieve self-sufficiently and provide community leadership to promote multicultural understanding.

Launched by a coalition of immigrant service providers and advocates, the UndocuFund for Fire Relief in Sonoma County provides direct assistance to undocumented victims of the Northern California fires. The Fund’s mission is to support undocumented children, families, and communities affected by the fires in Sonoma County to recover and rebuild. One hundred percent of all donations will go to victim support. Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, a national nonprofit headquartered in Sebastopol, serves as the fiscal agent for the fund. GCIR and the other partners will cover the fund’s administrative costs.

Mikey's Place is committed to helping families who are raising children with disabilities. Our mission is achieved threefold: We inform families with our biennial publication Mikey's Guide - a comprehensive resource book of disability-related services and programs. Second, we connect families to the services and information they need by hosting an Annual Special Needs Summer Camp & Resource Fair and by maintaining an active Facebook page. Finally, we support families by offering "camperships" to assist with the cost of specialized summer camps or other enriching summer activities.

On each mission trip, we present the Gospel with fun and excitement, giving Pastors a resource to inspire their congregations. We also use the game of soccer to unite mission teams with those we serve whether through a pick-up game or a full-blown soccer tournament. Community development can be financial support that enables a pastor to celebrate his church’s anniversary or to provide food to hungry children in an orphanage. Community development is also support for schools from Tanzania to Haiti where our local partners are committed to educating the next generation.

The Neighbors Link mission is to strengthen the whole community through the healthy integration of immigrants. Our mission is achieved by filling a service gap for new immigrant families, offering education and empowerment programs, involving longer-term residents in volunteer opportunities and creating substantive partnerships with other local organizations. Our strategies to educate, empower and employ families include a Worker Center, English as a Second Language (ESL) education, legal services and advocacy, workforce development, parent education, early childhood programs and academic support for school-age children of immigrants.Neighbors Link is headquartered in Mount Kisco, has three locations in Westchester County and offers services throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley.

A federal program funded by services, grants, donations, and contributions, dedicated to advocate, educate, and connect our communities to include veterans, seniors, single women with children, families, and organizations. We provide the blueprints of locating social benefits to those who may be eligible for services: healthcare, financial aid, at home programs, start-up business, military benefits, and social security. We develop opportunities for those seeking assistance by educating themselves within our services model. Every action is aimed to pay it forward and COHH accomplishes this by empowering others through internships, practical knowledge, and hands-on experience. We bring hope to our community in times of need due to an unforeseen hardship.

The mission of IRIS is to enable refugees and other displaced people to establish new lives, regain hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities. Refugees are men, women and children who fled their countries of origin due to persecution on the basis of their race, nationality, religious belief, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. According to international law, refugees are those who have a "well-founded fear of persecution" and are unable to return to their countries without risking violence to themselves and their families, including torture and death. They are granted special immigration status according to international law. Each year the US government invites a small number of them to start new lives, or "resettle," in this country. The front-line work of resettlement is done by local agencies like IRIS. IRIS works intensively with refugees, particularly during the first year of their resettlement, to help them build lives of their own choosing in the US. IRIS also serves the larger immigrant community through its Food Pantry. Through outreach, advocacy, and public events, IRIS educates the community about the refugee experience and issues of national and international importance that touch all of our lives.
