The mission of the Soaring Eagle Center is to provide life-long solutions for the social, vocational, educational, and residential needs of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The agency's mission is to provide people with disabilities and their families support to attain independence, self-determination, integration and acceptance by others through education, exploration and experience.

To promote the exercise of rights and civil liberties through Responsible Human Development, alongside populations that live in poverty and social exclusion.

To empower the disabled citizens by establishing a "Valley for the Disabled' as a Rehabilitation and development center for the region and to develop models for self-help initiatives by integrating the disabled individuals with the society for improved living conditions in the village.

To encourage and empower young adults with developmental disabilities by providing innovative entrepreneurial education that builds on their interests and strengths so that they can create happier and more productive lives.

We are a non-governmental development organization constituted on July 14, 1983 as the social arm of the Lutheran church in Peru. We are men and women who, motivated by our faith, work with families in situations of economic, social and environmental vulnerability, in order to create the right conditions for a dignified life. Since our creation, we have dedicated our commitment and effort to the promotion of territorial development with a focus on sustainable human development, promoting healthy housing, with emphasis on education, health and nutrition, facilitating processes that contribute to economic and social development, with a focus on rights, gender and interculturality.
