Working together to feed the hungry in our community, The Food Pantries for the Capital District is a coalition of more than 64 food pantries located in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties. Annually, The Food Pantries helps fund, collect, and deliver 1,464 tons of food for our member food pantries, which helps provide food for approximately 3.2 million meals. We also support our member pantries by providing service coordination, education, training, opportunities for networking, and infant needs and holiday meals programs. To coordinate the acquisition and distribution of food and basic essentials to the hungry and the needy through our network of non-profit, service agencies that provide directly for the needs of the hungry and the poor of our community. We also serve as the regional distribution site for USDA commodities. We also operate a Kids Cafe program. We are a part of Feeding America, and have operated in Gainesville since 1987.
FHFH feeds the hungry by transforming donated deer, elk and livestock into nutritious meat for food banks and feeding ministries. Nutritious red meat is the most-needed item at food banks and feeding ministries nationwide. FHFH pays to have deer and other big-game donated by hunters processed, packaged and frozen by approved, participating meat cutters. The meat, which is high in protein and low in fat, is distributed free of charge to the food banks and feeding ministries that serve the poor nationwide. FHFH exists to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by feeding the hungry. In the Bible, Isaiah the prophet and Jesus himself lift up feeding the hungry as one of the traits of those who have given their hearts to the Lord.
The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges (IFPO) is an all-volunteer, supplemental food pantry helping to meet essential human needs of food-insecure residents of Orange, West Orange and East Orange, NJ, with dignity and respect.

Second Harvest of the Big Bend (SHBB) is a nonprofit charity started in 1982 to address the urgent problem of hunger in the community. The food bank’s mission is to meet the short-term nutritional needs of hungry, food insecure people and lead the community in the fight to end hunger.Because people often have to make difficult choices between feeding themselves and their families, and paying for other necessities, no-cost food assistance can lift a big weight from their shoulders. Thanks to Second Harvest, clients can utilize income to pay for other expenses, such as medicines, school expenses for children, rent and utilities. This helps them to save money, increase assets and strengthen resiliency.
CFVI was created to serve both donors and nonprofit organizations of the Virgin Islands that want to ensure the highest quality of life for present and future generations. Its primary goal is to build a collection of permanent funds, which will be used to enhance the educational, physical, social, cultural and environmental well-being of the children, youth, and families of the Virgin Islands. Our programs, operating cost, and much of CFVI's community outreach are provided each year through generous donations from CFVI Angels. The Angel gifts support all we do in the community. The Foundation's immediate primary focus is to assist Virgin Islanders and VI community-serving organizations with relief and recovery associated with the devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria.
Through empowerment, education, and partnerships The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri brings community resources together to feed people in need. We provide food at no charge to pantries, soup kitchen and other member agencies that distribute it to people in need at no charge.
