Corals for Conservation (C4C) addresses poverty-driven coral reef decline by developing sustainable, community-appropriate enterprises designed to shift the burden away from over-used and depleted fisheries resources. C4C promotes "coral gardeners" as new profession for resorts, providing employment and added value to the industry while contributing to coral reef conservation and restoration. We recognize that if people and industry are major parts of the problem then they are also major parts of the solution.

To reduce food insecurity for all people living in New York City by increasing access and choice to culturally relevant healthy food. We envision a time when everyone in NYC will have equitable access to a variety of healthy, fresh food. Toward this goal, we work to increase the resiliency of local food systems by partnering with regional farms and local food businesses and pantries to ensure a sufficient supply of acceptable and accessible food for all.

Alleviating malnutrition and hunger in children through education and awareness.Chefs for Kids advocates childhood malnutrition through partnered programs that directly impact children's understanding of food. This is done by providing youth with fresh healthy food options and education. It is a fact that education is the key to long-term health and success.

The mission of Bread For Life is to provide food, fellowship and a sense of dignity to those in need.We are a nonprofit 501 c 3 organization that relies on the generosity of our community to help us fulfill our mission that no one goes hungry in our town.Our vision is accomplished by providing meals served daily in our kitchen, delivered within our senior community and also to our home-bound citizens, and to children in the summer.Bread For Life strives to help our clients with their personal needs through referrals to appropriate agencies.
