Every Thursday at 35 State Street in Troy, whether it’s rain, snow or sunshine, Sidewalk Warriors – Troy serves an average of 120 children, families and adults struggling from food insecurity, homelessness and mental illness. Through generous donations and more than 25 local partnerships, we are able to assist anyone in need with delicious, homemade meals, essentials and hygiene items.

The mission of Humanitarian Action Network is to provide direct humanitarian aid to people who are experiencing homelessness in Sacramento, California. Humanitarian Action Network (HAN) differs from other organizations that support the homeless in that they meet people where they are on the streets. This is important because most of these people do not have the ability to travel either due to mental or physical handicap, lack of funds for public transportation, or for fear of leaving their belongings behind for the day.
