The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a faith-based volunteer organization that offers relational support and direct aid to those in need across nine counties in North Texas. The Society provides short-term financial, material and emotional support. People are empowered to reach the goal of self-sufficiency through advocacy, education and referrals. Inspired by Gospel values, members grow spiritually through person-to-person service to all in need. Through systemic change, the Society promotes dignity, alleviates suffering and distress, and addresses the conditions that cause the person to need assistance.

Founded in 1976, House of Ruth empowers women, children, and families to rebuild their lives and heal from trauma, abuse, and houselessness. Through 14 programs in Washington, DC, we serve women, children, and families who are striving to overcome childhood trauma, domestic violence, homelessness, mental health disorders, and poverty.  Our continuum of services encompasses enriched housing for families and single women; trauma-informed childcare; and free counseling to empower anyone, regardless of gender, who is a survivor of trauma and abuse.

Family Promise of Blount County leads the way in ending child and family homelessness in Blount County and the surrounding region.

We are a faith based program to help women coming out of addiction, incarceration and domestic abuse, reclaim their families and lives. Our program consists of Bible studies, employment preparation and help connecting with other community resources. The program lasts from 6-9 months and equips the women to live successful lives and give back to their communities.

To create a true system of end homelessness in Middlesex County, NJ by identifying needs and gaps in resources; developing needed programs and fostering collaborative strategies and public private partnerships among all stakeholders.

School on Wheels of Massachusetts’ (SOWMA) mission is to support the academic, social and emotional growth of students impacted by homelessness. Our vision is for all students to have the support necessary to be successful in school and achieve a productive future that will help end the cycle of homelessness.Our 3 “Pathways to Student Success” (One-on-One Tutoring Program, Bridge Program and Tools for School) give at risk students the opportunity to reach their full potential --- by being a consistent presence in their lives, by building their belief in themselves and by increasing their competencies to succeed in school. Since 2004, SOWMA has tutored 3,200+ students, celebrated 39 college graduations and distributed 31,000+ customized backpacks.

To end homelessness, one family at a time. We engage diverse and inclusive community and faith-based organizations to provide emergency shelter and basic needs to families with children who experience homelessness. We offer culturally informed services to prevent homelessness and to assist families in finding housing and sustaining their independence.
