THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF BENEFITING THE YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN ("YWCA"), A NONPROFIT CORPORATION INCORPORATED IN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN PURSUANT TO THE MICHIGAN NONPROFIT CORPORATION ACT, MCL 450.2101 ET SEQ. (THE "MNCA"), TO ACT AS AN EXEMPT ORGANIZATION UNDER THE PROVISION OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE ("CODE"), OR OTHER SECTION OF THE CODE; AND IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY TO PROVIDE HOUSING FOR PERSONS WHOSE INCOME DOES NOT EXCEED THE LIMITS ESTABLISHED IN THE MICHIGAN STATE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ACT, ACT 346 OF 1966 AS AMENDED ("THE ACT"), AND IN GENERAL TO CARRY ON ANY BUSINESS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND INCIDENT THERETO NOT INCONSISTENT WITH THE ACT, AND WITH ALL POWERS CONFERRED UPON NONPROFIT CORPORATIONS BY THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.

By mobilizing community faith groups in the Santa Clarita Valley to assist homeless children and their families, Family Promise works to achieve sustainable independence for our guests while offering hope, compassion, and shelter and preserving individual dignity.

Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is a local united Christian organization and ministry dedicated to providing love, hope, respect, and a new beginning to the homeless.  UGM-TC offers a holistic program of care that leads to true, lasting healing.

We believe every child deserves a lifelong, permanent connection. We believe that people raise children, not systems. Through this belief, we have created our Promise of Permanency. For every child that enters a Boys & Girls Aid program, we promise to prepare youth for permanency, advocate on their behalf for permanency and help them find resources for their permanency. Permanency means a lifelong commitment between and with an adult and child. By providing each child with a permanent committed adult, they will receive the guidance, stability and emotional support needed to be a successful adult in their community.

Operation Finally Home provides homes and home modifications to America's military heroes, first responders and their families who have sacrificed so much in their service to country and community. We bring together corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, remodelers, developers, individual contributors, and volunteers to help these Heroes and their families by addressing one of their most pressing needs – a home to call their own.

Founded in 1983 as a soup kitchen, Miriam's Kitchen has evolved over the years to provide more than meals. Today, Miriam's Kitchen is a critical player in the fight to end chronic homelessness in DC. On the direct services level, we help our guests improve their health, increase their income and obtain housing through a range of programs and partnerships. The National Alliance to End Homelessness is a nonpartisan organization committed to preventing and ending homelessness in the United States. The Alliance analyzes data and research so that policymakers, practitioners, and the public have the best information about trends in homelessness and emerging solutions. The Alliance also provides capacity-building assistance to help communities turn policy solutions and proven best practices into viable, on-the-ground programs.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. We meet the immediate daily needs of the people we serve with food, clothing and health care. We help break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor the elderly and individuals with mental illness.

Every 13 minutes a woman dies from breast cancer. Each year in the United States alone, more than 275,000 women and hundreds of men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 42,000 die from the disease. Another 3 million people are living with the disease. The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's mission is to end breast cancer by increasing federal funding for breast cancer research, creating access to breast and cervical cancer care for underserved and uninsured women, and training advocates to play an active role wherever breast cancer decisions are made.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of San Mateo County (SVdP) provides Safety-Net services for families and individuals in our community who are often suffering, forgotten, and deprived — the working poor, the homeless, the incarcerated, and all people living on the margins. SVdP’s model of service is person-to-person and is targeted to specific needs of each client. With the help of over 1,000 Vincentian volunteers who donate their time, talent, and resources to help neighbors in need, SVdP provides rapid and targeted assistance throughout San Mateo County, California. We also seek systemic change solutions to help move people out of poverty.
