Kids In Crisis' mission is ensure the well-being of children through vital 24-hour services. To this end, Kids In Crisis provides free, round-the-clock crisis intervention, counseling, and emergency shelter, prevention programs in local communities, and advocacy throughout Connecticut.

Partners In Housing

Partners In Housing gives homeless families with children the hope and opportunity to achieve self-sufficiency through supportive services and transitional housing. They accomplish this mission by providing homeless households with a year of transitional housing, case management, life skills training, and budget/credit counseling. They serve families with children. Applicants must be homeless or in danger of becoming homeless; willing and able to work and participate in supportive services; and motivated to achieve self-sufficiency.

Arm In Arm

Arm In Arm (formerly The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County) was founded in 1980 by the leaders of Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church as a grassroots, community response to the economic recession of the time. Our mission is “Partnering with the community to achieve stability for our neighbors in need." We serve low-income individuals and families in every Mercer County municipality through Housing Stability and Homelessness Prevention, Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Education, and Employment Readiness including Driver's License Assistance.

Our mission is to provide safe transitional housing and support for asylum seekers, refugees, people who have been granted asylum and unaccompanied minors at risk of homelessness.
