Military members nation-wide confront a multitude of problems during their careers, the last thing they need to worry about is their pet's care during their service commitments. Dogs On Deployment is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit which provides an online network for service members to search for volunteers who are willing to board their pets during their owner's service commitments. Dogs on Deployment promotes responsible, life-long pet ownership by military pet owners by advocating for military pet owner rights, providing educational resources and granting financial assistance for military pet owners during times of emergency. The foundation raises and manages charitable funds and endowments to support the perpetual care, maintenance, and improvement of the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery — funding projects, amenities, and long‑term operations so the cemetery remains a dignified resting place for veterans and their families.

Our mission is to serve our active duty military, veterans and their families as they deal with the complexities of service to include post-traumatic stress, depression, traumatic brain injuries, physical disabilities and financial hardship by providing a venue for learning, healing and camaraderie using music

In times of triumph and through adversity, Coast Guard Foundation programs: -focus on the well-being, education and morale of the men and women of the United States Coast Guard; -empower and educate Coast Guard families; -provide critical support during times of injury and loss. We also support academic, athletic and leadership excellence for cadets at the United States Coast Guard Academy, and partner with the Coast Guard Auxiliary - the volunteer arm of the service - providing units with critical funding for mission support.

Support The Enlisted Project (STEP) provides emergency financial and transition assistance grants to active duty and recently discharged enlisted military and their families. Financial assistance is provided in 12 categories encompassing a wide range of emergency needs. Military and veteran families often struggle to meet their most basic needs due to California's high cost of living index. Awarding financial assistance as a grant, not a loan, ensures that these families can move forward without the burden or worry of paying off another debt.The war in Afghanistan is winding down and our service members are returning home to fight a very different battle. Severe defense budget cuts are forcing hundreds of thousands of service members to involuntarily separate from the military with very little resources, support, or opportunities for employment. STEP will continue our efforts to support active duty military families, but now we also pay special attention to our recently discharged veterans as they struggle to successfully reintegrate back into civilian society. STEP is a reliable, relevant, and responsive Southern California resource that our Nation's heroes and their families can depend upon in their time of need.

The Call of Duty Endowment uses a venture philanthropy approach. In essence, we fund the best organizations we can find—with strings attached. Recipients must demonstrate effective and cost-efficient veteran job placement. When they do, we encourage their growth and operations with additional funding, advice and support.

Operation Freedom Paws empowers veterans and others with disabilities to live a quality life by teaching them to train their own dogs, and certifying them as service dog teams. The dogs, usually from rescue organizations or shelters, are carefully evaluated. Each is then matched to a specific client’s physical and psychological needs. There is no charge – all we ask is a commitment to complete the 48-week training program.

Combat veteran founded and operated, Semper K9’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for wounded members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families by providing them custom-trained service dogs. Using rescued and donated dogs Semper K9 provides mental health mobility service dogs for psychiatric alert and mobility challenges free of charge to disabled veterans across the country.

Women Veterans of New Mexcio is dedicated to "Serving She Who Served" through education and advocacy. - We provide information, resources and support to New Mexico Women Veterans, including homeless women veterans. - We ensure government agencies are responsive to gender specific needs of women veterans. - Provide collaborative forum to learn and discuss challenges unique to women veterans. - Provide social events for women veterans to enhance camaraderie. - Conduct out reach and fund raise in support of our mission.
