The Air Warrior Courage Foundation was formed by military aviators to “care for our own.”  We work closely with the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Association to do that. We focus on active duty, guard, reserve and retired military personnel and their families needing financial assistance for medical, educational, and other extraordinary expenses not covered by other military, veterans’, or charitable institutions.

To memorialize and honor the sacrifices of all those who have rendered loyal, faithful, heroic, and self-sacrificing service at home and overseas, while members of our armed forces or through civilian capacity. The Foundation seeks to bring military and civilian families together by helping to relieve the burdens of family separation and hardships, through direct assistance for basic needs, historical education, and patriotic avenues.

The mission of Riley’s Army is to provide support to children with cancer and their families in Eastern North Carolina. organizing volunteers to provide individualized support for the family to maintain a healthy home environment; providing educational, financial and logistical support for the children and family as they navigate along the difficult path of childhood cancer treatment; facilitate efforts of existing service organizations, churches and individuals for pediatric cancer patients and their families; raise awareness of pediatric cancer and advocate for patient centered care.

The mission of the ASMBA STAR Foundation is to improve the quality of life of the military service member, wounded warriors, veterans and their families by contributing to those financial, educational, social, employment and medical needs unmet by the U.S. Government. The ASMBA STAR Foundation attempts to identify and respond to the military and veteran community needs by: o Cultivating and maintaining effective partnerships with individuals, businesses, government, and other veterans organizations; and o Communicating with the military service member, veterans, and their families to better identify those needs

The USS Liberty Veterans Association was established to provide support for survivors of the June 8, 1967 attack on the USS Liberty. The efforts of the LVA is also focused on ensuring the US government finally conducts the public investigation of the attack on the USS Liberty. Such an investigation routinely follows an attack of this kind but for reasons as yet unexplained even to members of the crew has been denied the attack on the USS Liberty.The LVA also educates the public on the attack of the USS Liberty and tries to ensure such an event never again occurs.

The mission of AAI is to build hope and empower communities afflicted by armed conflict and severe poverty. We believe that peace, security and respect for human dignity are inseparable. Our goal is to develop programs as sustainable models that can be replicated globally. Our people-to-people initiatives integrate health, education, arts and livelihood as a basis for mediation. By building Hope, we overcome the hatred propagated by terror organizations. The success of these cost-effective models shows that empowering impoverished and conflict-plagued communities strengthens international security, stability and peace.

Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) shall execute and plan community-wide events such as Memorial Day, Veterans Day, POW/MIA Day and recognition/support of military families of all services. It is an inclusive committee composed of civic education, veteran and business partners. The objectives of CMAC: - To preserve and promote military history - To recognize veterans and military families for their contributions to our nation - To assist and support veterans, deployed the military and their families - To recognize community and national events - To make recommendations or take action on any other subject, pertaining to the well being of veterans and military families

PROVIDE SHORT-TERM PASTORAL COUNSELING AND NEEDS EVALUATIONS FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDE TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR CHURCH MINISTRIES AND OTHER OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS CONCERNED WITH THE NEEDS OF MILITARY VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. ASSIST VETERANS AND FAMILY MEMBERS IN IDENTIFYING AVAILABLE LOCAL COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR LONG-TERM CARE NEEDS WHICH INCLUDE: VA SERVICES, COUNSELING, SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS, CHURCH RESOURCES, ETC. SERVE AS A CONGREGATIONAL RESOURCE BY EQUIPPING THEM IN THEIR MINISTRY OF OUTREACH TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE CHURCH AND LOCAL COMMUNITY. PROVIDE ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT FOR MILITARY FAMILIES WHEN THEIR LOVED ONE IS DEPLOYED.

MissionVANC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which serves as a one-stop resource center for all active-duty military, Veterans, and their families. We centralize services from diverse agencies to assist with benefits, transition, jobs, education, health, and wellness.VisionWe seek to honor and support those who have served our country, bridging the past, present, and future. VANC is a vibrant gathering place in North San Diego County, where all Veterans, active-duty military, and their loved ones can reach out for help and community. VANC engages and informs local Veterans organizations, service providers, and individuals, helping them work together. VANC seeks to be a model for other organizations that serve the military community.

Veteran Tickets Foundation - ( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members, veterans and first responders to stay engaged with local communities and American life.( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) provides tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military, Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA and first responders.( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation. VetTixers and 1stTixers sign up online. We verify their service. The National Veterans Foundation (NVF) was founded in 1985 to help veterans streamline the process of accessing help for the myriad of needs they face, and to help broaden public understanding of these needs--including crisis/PTSD counseling, medical treatment, legal aid, VA benefits assistance, food, shelter, education, employment training, homelessness services, and substance abuse treatment. The NVF operates the Nation's only live, toll-free crisis management, information, and referral helpline (1-888-777-4443; vetsupport@nvf.org) for all veterans and their families; coordinates Public Awareness Programs designed to increase awareness and understanding about the effects of war and human needs of Americas veterans; and conducts ongoing outreach programs that provide veterans and families in need with food, clothing, transportation, employment, and other essential resources.
