The mission of Riley’s Army is to provide support to children with cancer and their families in Eastern North Carolina. organizing volunteers to provide individualized support for the family to maintain a healthy home environment; providing educational, financial and logistical support for the children and family as they navigate along the difficult path of childhood cancer treatment; facilitate efforts of existing service organizations, churches and individuals for pediatric cancer patients and their families; raise awareness of pediatric cancer and advocate for patient centered care.

Northeast Florida Women Veterans, Inc. is focused on ensuring women who have served on active duty, National Guard or Reserves and their children, transition into the civilian community with the tools they need to become self-sufficient

The Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an avenue to improve the bodies, minds and spirits of children, youth and adults with physical and or developmental disabilities, through therapeutic horseback riding lessons and other unique activities.

SEALKIDS, through its programs, supports the children of Naval Special Warfare- everyday kids living in extraordinary circumstances. This encompassing approach of academic testing, tutoring, therapy, advocacy, and enrichment fosters the success and well-being of the child, critically reducing family stresses and ultimately keeping today's Navy SEAL in the fight.

John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation was created to continue the tradition of giving set forth by my father, John T. Holzum. He was a man of great integrity and character. He gave of himself relentlessly while being a great husband, exceptional father of six children, owning a business, serving as president of a school board, and serving as Faithful Navigator of his Knights of Columbus council. John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation produces events to raise funds for a variety of benefactors. Country Family Reunion benefits the USO of Missouri, and Mission Possible benefits Professor Craig & Shari Miner's mission trips to foreign orphanages to assist children with disabilities. The foundation funds a variety of special needs cases, including sending underprivileged children to Summer camp, buying Christmas presents for homeless children, and purchasing a violin for a young aspiring musician. The foundation will start a scholarship for two graduating high school seniors beginning in 2018. We intend to serve more causes as our foundation grows! John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation's staff have worked together for a decade to serve the needs of many in our community, and a wonderful support group of volunteers rounds out the family the makes our foundation a success! NEADS World Class Service Dogs was founded in 1976 to train and place assistance dogs to help people who have disabilities and children who have autism. NEADS has trained over 1,800 Assistance Dog partners (person and dog) now living and working together across the USA, including assistance dogs to help veterans of our wars with physical disabilities and with PTSD. NEADS is the oldest continuing Hearing Dog program in the country and the first program on the East Coast to train a Service Dog.
