JEWISH WAR VETERANS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOUNDATION

We, citizens of the United States of America, of the Jewish faith, who served in the Wars of the United States of America, in order that we may be of greater service to our country and to one another, associate ourselves together for the following purposes: To maintain true allegiance to the United States of America; To foster and perpetuate true Americanism; To combat whatever tends to impair the efficiency and permanency of our free institutions; To uphold the fair name of the Jew and fight his or her battles wherever unjustly assailed; to encourage the doctrine of universal liberty, equal rights, and full justice to all men and women; To combat the powers of bigotry and darkness wherever originating and whatever their target; To preserve the spirit of comradeship by mutual helpfulness to comrades and their families; To cooperate with and support existing educational institutions and establish educational institutions, and to foster the education of ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen, and our members in the ideals and principles of Americanism; To instill love of country and flag, and to promote sound minds and bodies in our members and our youth; To preserve the memories and records of patriotic service performed by the men and women of our faith; To honor their memory and shield from neglect the graves of our heroic dead.

PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA - MILWAUKEE

Paralyzed Veterans of America – Wisconsin Chapter (PVA-WI) works to improve the quality of life for veterans, in our state, living with spinal cord injury or disease, including those with MS and ALS. Our work is carried out through programs that focus on research and education, quality healthcare, access to benefits, advocacy and legislation, membership and outreach, and adaptive sports and recreation.

The Army Women’s Foundation is the premier center for educational excellence, the national network for today’s Army women and a dynamic advocate for telling the history of Army women. The Army Women’s Foundation is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization originally established in 1969. The mission of the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation is to promote public interest in the Army and the women who serve in the Army. Through programs, research and scholarships, the Foundation recognizes and honors the service of Army women and supports the U.S. Army Women’s Museum located at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Women Veterans Giving, Inc. (WVG) is committed to narrowing the gap between civilian and military relations, empowering women of all leadership positions, assisting in the reintegration to civilian life, finding fulfillment in the professional world, encouraging a sense of belonging, encouraging entrepreneurs and small business owners, and building a supportive educated community. WVG is women veterans lifting each other up, for all to succeed and create a better community. WVG is committed to raising funds to provide women veterans scholarships for the Unconference and small business funding as well as other professional development opportunities.

*To promote medical research to cure spinal cord injury and dysfunction and related problems. *To advocate and monitor the access and delivery of quality and appropriate health care services. *Assist in identifying and securing benefits for spinal cord injured and diseased veterans and others, as appropriate. *To educate society on the attitudinal, physical and legal barriers which confront persons with disabilities and to influence the removal of those barriers. *To provide information and opportunities while promoting the direct and indirect benefits of incorporating and maintaining health, recreation, employment, services and camaraderie for spinal cord injured and diseased veterans and others, as appropriate. *To work in conjunction with other community civic groups, agencies and individuals who share our objectives.
