TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT, AND FACILITATE THE WORK OF THE RESCUE MISSION MINISTRIES, INC. D/B/A DURHAM RESCUE MISSION, DURHAM NC, A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER NC LAW. GOD HAS BLESSED RESCUE MISSION MINISTRIES, INC. WITH FUNDS THAT HAVE BEEN DESIGNATED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN ITS LONG-RANGE PLAN FOR UTILIZATION OF UNRESTRICTED NET ASSET FUNDS. THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO BE A GOOD STEWARD OF THESE ASSETS, BY MANAGING AND PRODUCING A FAVORABLE INVESTMENT RETURN AS COMPARED AGAINST INFLATION.

The fund was established in 1990 with the goal of helping meet the modest and immediate needs of Washington students encountered by Washington Education Association members in their daily workplaces. The intent is to ensure that the physical, social and emotional needs of students do not stand in the way of success within the school setting.

TO RECEIVE AND MAINTAIN CONTRIBUTIONS OF MONEY, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND REAL PROPERTY TO USE AND APPLY TO A TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION.
