The foundation exists to promote public appreciation and understanding of the historic Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, maintain non‑denominational Christian worship there, and support preservation and public programming for the chapel as a memorial and spiritual center.

Ihsan foundation is a USA based charity with an objective to make a difference in the lives of the people in the West African region through educational, humanitarian, and healthcare projects. We believe in the essential dignity of all human beings, regardless of national origin, ethnicity, gender or religion. While most of the work has been focused on Sierra Leone due to the 10 year war devastation, Ihsan has since broadened its services to other neighboring countries – Guinea, Cameroon, Niger, Ghana, Liberia, and Nigeria. Ihsan Foundation works with many local communities and various local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) throughout the region to implement its projects.

The Foundation maintains an endowment to support Holy Spirit Parish’s Catholic education programs, primarily by providing tuition assistance to parish families and funding faith-formation opportunities for youth and adults. Gifts are held as a permanent endowment and investment income is disbursed annually to keep Catholic education more affordable at Holy Spirit.

Established since 2006, Merciful Hearts Foundation is a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization that provides preventive health care services to poor pregnant women, infants, children under five years, and elderly citizens of rural Imo State, Nigeria-Africa. The organization also provides opportunities to elementary and secondary school children for a better education.

Since 1977, The Padre Pio Foundation of America has been here for your spiritual needs and has faithfully fulfilled its mission: spread devotion to Padre Pio; help maintain his home village of Pietrelcina, Italy and the Capuchin Friary and Church where he resided for 50 years in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy as holy places of remembrance; assist in the preservation of places dear to Padre Pio during his lifetime; support religious and priestly vocations; perform the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and charity in the name of Jesus and in honor of our dear saint, Padre Pio to help those less fortunate and in need.

Our mission is to efficiently serve not just the Muslim community but the southwest suburban community at large. We have built strong interfaith relationships with other religious institutions in the area, hosted inter-faith community activities as well as launched programs and volunteer efforts with the refugee community. We encourage member participation in community events and also host events like, soup kitchen, clothing drive, workforce development classes, IT & cloud computing classes which are open to all communities. Our cornerstone is built on education and community service.
