We serve a wholesome, freshly made meal each Saturday – one that we are happy to eat ourselves – in a respectful atmosphere to anyone who comes through our doors, no questions asked. We provide a welcoming place of respite for our guests and offer vital social services to those in need. We do this with an all-volunteer staff, without a single employee.

We partner with mission-driven people and organizations across Cook and Lake Counties to witness a message of mercy and hope to a world in need. We are called to serve and accompany anyone, regardless of their faith, gender, race, or ethnicity.

LifeLine Pilots coordinates free air transportation, through volunteer pilots, for passengers with medical or humanitarian needs far from home. Our vision is a world where every person has equal access to transportation for healthcare and humanitarian needs.

Common Ground Cooperative (CGC) provides individualized services and education to children, families, and communities in need of academic and social-emotional support with a foundation in behavior analysis. We value each family and community's distinct views, ethics, and treatment preferences, and vow to operate with respect and socially valid treatment for each client.

Founded in 1974 on the belief that no one should be hungry or alone in a world of caring people, Caring for Friends is a volunteer organization and independent food bank serving greater Philadelphia. CFF provides food and friendship to homebound seniors, veterans, and those with disabilities; delivers meals to people facing homelessness; and donates food to more than 250 community partners in unserved and underserved neighborhoods. In 2021, CFF rescued, sourced and distributed more than 12 million pounds of food. Volunteer to cook meals, pack snacks, make deliveries or visit with clients at caringforfriends.org.

Labouré College is the longest educator of nurses in Boston. They were founded by the Daughters of Charity, a Catholic order of nuns dedicated to caring for the sick and underserved with compassion. Over 125 years later, Labouré College carries on the Daughters’ mission with a strong commitment to educating diverse men and women who are called to a career in caring for others. Labouré’s mission is to provide high quality education to prepare women and men for careers in nursing and healthcare. They seek to provide opportunities to a diverse population of students to continue their education as mature adults and responsible citizens. Their proud legacy is over 8,000 alumni, caring for patients with skill and compassion in the Boston area and around the world.
