The Park People

Through our annual "Denver Digs Trees" program, we distribute and plant more than 1,000 public trees each spring. Many of these trees are planted in Denver's most underserved neighborhoods. Our volunteer "Community Forester" program trains citizens to act as stewards over Denver's urban forest. The Park People manages Denver's Gates Tennis Center -- one of the country's premier public tennis facilities. We also raise private funds for public park projects, including building renovation, landscape projects, and historic preservation of park structures.

Pedal The Cause

Pedal the Cause accelerates breakthrough cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital by inspiring and mobilizing a community committed to curing cancer. Our vision is audacious but within reach: we envision a world without cancer. We are relentlessly striving for a future where everyone lives their life free from the fear of a life-threatening cancer diagnosis and where prevention strategies, innovative treatments, and cures are accessible to all. We don't stand alone. Since 2010, the Pedal Family has formed a vibrant community united by a shared purpose: to transform cancer research and save lives. Additionally, donations from Pedal the Cause will make a positive economic impact in the St. Louis community as stronger research funding will continue to support this high profile and critically important segment of the St. Louis economy.

The Nawaya Network

The Nawaya Network aims to connect promising disadvantaged youth with mentors, businesses, and institutions, to help them pursue skills or passions that would otherwise go unnoticed. We believe that by enabling at-risk youth to pursue their passions, they will be less likely to engage in violence, crime, and drug-use. The Nawaya Network is a new non-governmental, non-discriminative non-profit organization that discovers hidden potential, connects youth to worldwide resources, and empowers future generations. We operate by deriving youth from pre-established NGO partners, and connecting them to local resources (such as classes, workshops, mentorship sessions) provided by partner individuals, businesses, and institutions. So far, 25 youth have been enrolled in our program, with 25 others identified for future enrollment. Founder of The Nawaya Network, Zeina Saab, recently spoke at TedxBeirut. With upcoming February fundraisers in Vienna and Dubai, we plan to expand to the region as soon as resources permit. The Nawaya Network will launch in March 2013 with a unique and interactive online platform that allows users to connect youth with needed resources - all with the click of a button.
