Provide a fun, safe and physically challenging camp experience for children with T1D. Give campers and their families the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with others affected by and living with diabetes. Educate campers to better understand and control their diabetes. Promote awareness of nutrition and exercise as an essential component of diabetes management. Promote independence and self-discipline in the child’s approach to life with diabetes. Educate health professionals, students and staff about children with a chronic condition and about Type 1 diabetes and its management. Provide opportunities for families to come together to improve their knowledge, understanding and diabetes-related skills within a community of health-care providers. Provide a wide-range of programs throughout Florida to help children and families regardless of their ability to pay.

SkiDUCK is an entirely volunteer based organization that provides free ski and snowboard programs to financially disadvantaged, minority and at risk youth; including free lift tickets, rentals lessons, clothing and safety gear.

SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) provides children from underserved communities with life changing opportunities through the experience of summer camp. SCOPE funds camp scholarships “camperships” to send children who commit to staying in school to nonprofit, resident camps which will empower them to develop to their full potential.

The mission of the SFBC Education Fund is to provide education, training and services for San Francisco Bay Area residents who commute by bicycle or ride bicycles recreationally.

The mission of The First Tee of Greater Dallas is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, still life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The chapter serves the Greater Dallas community, including Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis and other surrounding counties. BBSEF (formerly Bogus Basin Ski Racing Alliance) was founded in 1967, to provide training and competition programs for aspiring young ski racers. Today BBSEF has grown to include freeskiing and snowboard programs. BBSEF has programs for ages 6 -19 who want to compete in alpine ski racing, freeskiing & snowboarding. Our focus is the development of the athlete as a whole. We believe the overall impact of sports goes well beyond the athletic results, instilling: sportsmanship, accountability, building character and confidence. Sports bring opportunities to make new friends, dream, and work toward the future. It’s no surprise that the Athletes of BBSEF have gone on to become collegiate scholars, Olympians, and leaders in their communities. Tannery Pond Center for Arts, Education and Community Gatherings (dba Tannery Pond Center) is dedicated to bringing the best possible performances and art gallery shows to the Gore Mountain Region in the Adirondacks. The organization sponsors and produces numerous concerts and gallery showings throughout the year. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend any and all events.
