GLIDE's mission is to create a radically inclusive, just and loving community mobilized to alleviate suffering and break the cycles of poverty and marginalization. GLIDE serves a diverse cross-section of homeless, low-income and marginalized populations with an integrated program model that includes daily free meals, housing assistance, domestic violence counseling and abatement, substance use recovery, childcare, afterschool and summer programs for K-5, a family resource center, HIV/Hep-C outreach and prevention, a drop-in legal clinic, and on-site access to primary and mental health care (via Tenderloin Health Services). Marwen educates and inspires under-served young people through the visual arts. Marwen provides high quality visual arts-education, college planning, and career development programs--all free of charge--to Chicago's under-served youth in grades 6-12.
Timanous is dedicated to providing a camp life that builds character and has lasting value for every boy. This camp life features: simple, active living in a rustic environment; deep respect for the rights and self-worth of every individual; and the holistic growth of body, mind and spirit. Our main fundraising focus is to grow the Sandy Tattersall Fund endowment, which provides financial assistance to current and future generations of boys who would otherwise not be able to attend Timanous.

Sunaayy is strongly motivated towards creating a better world through education. To this end, we at Sunaayy, remain dedicated towards providing basic education to children between the ages 3 to 12 who are unable to receive its benefits elsewhere, by holding classes at a time convenient to them and their families. We strive to work as a team with parents, educators and children, to impart an understanding of the life-changing value of education and its integral place in a child's life. We inspire and motivate children to develop academically, socially and morally, with a healthy respect for oneself, others and the environment. Sunaayy provides a setting that makes learning fun, and also encourages children to become independent and confident. We remain committed to the safety of our children.

MISSION: The Harbour provides emergency housing and services to youth experiencing homelessness in order to promote safety, stability, and personal growth. The Harbour’s vision is to provide opportunities that guide and empower youth to their fullest potential through safe housing, critical emergency interventions, positive mentoring, and resource services. Stable housing in tandem with educational and vocational support, life skills training, and intensive financial literacy support, coupled with the mentoring and nurturing support of caring adults are hallmarks of each program. Unlike adults, most homeless youth have never lived on their own and typically lack the skills or financial resources to begin living independently and sustain a path to independence and housing stability.
We provide a safe, neutral, supportive place for kids to hang out and have fun with other kids going through a divorce. By hearing others’ stories, kids know they’re not alone and it’s all going to be ok.
The Guardsmen makes a life-changing difference in the lives of at-risk youth by raising funds for scholarship, campership and other youth programs. We mobilize the talents, energy and resources of our members, friends, families, and professional colleagues, and in so doing strengthen our entire community.
