Need in Deed transforms teaching and learning in Philadelphia’s public school classrooms grades 3-8 by connecting the classroom with the community. We do this by- listening to what students tell us about the strengths and challenges of their communities and how they would like to make a difference - engaging students in learning that makes connections between the world they see around them, the community issues they care about, and the skills and concepts of the school curriculum - supporting classroom educators in using effective teaching strategies   - bringing the city’s professionals and practitioners into the classroom

Girls on the Run of Western North Carolina is an independent council of Girls on the Run International. The mission of Girls on the Run is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

THE MISSION OF GIRLS ON THE RUN IS TO INSPIRE GIRLS TO BE JOYFUL, HEALTHY AND CONFIDENT USING A FUN EXPERIENCE-BASED CURRICULUM THAT CREATIVELY INTEGRATES RUNNING.

Girls on the Run of the Northwoods inspires girls in north central Wisconsin to be confident, kind, compassionate and healthy using an experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
