UCLA UniCamp creates a fun resident camp experience for children from underserved communities and volunteer counselors. Through a connection with nature, relationship building, and leadership development, participants explore who they are and who they might want to become.

The goal of Retrieving Freedom is to place and match completely trained assistance dogs with a level of commitment to the recipients that is second to none! As strong as our desire is to train the best assistance dogs, it is also to be a part of their new connection with the people that need them.

Our programs empower kids to become actively engaged in social issues in their community and beyond. Involvement in service and volunteering helps build compassion, self-awareness and social connection – the building blocks for healthy social and emotional growth. Our community events seek to build and strengthen community. Our outreach efforts to other communities impacted by disaster or tragedy help build powerful and lasting connections and give our youth an opportunity to help others who have faced adversity. We help young people find their unique ability to make a difference in the world; to be beacons of hope and change; to be the light and lead the way.

AMP!'s mission is to connect students and mentors through school-based mentoring to amplify perspectives on what can be. Our goal is to create self-confidence, stimulate learning, and encourage career discovery for middle school youths in the Richmond region.

We empower people to create a healing connection with the ocean. We do this by teaching ocean literacy principles, ocean swim safety skills, and wave readiness games. Our methods provide youth and adults with a pathway to ocean stewardship and surfing.

AMBITION is a non-profit entrepreneurial program for disadvantaged youth that fosters innovation, solution-driven thinking, confidence and a positive work ethic through collaborative hands-on participation, real-world business experience and powerful, consistent connections with mentors and guests

The overall mission of Blue Hope is to raise funds, resources, social awareness, and provide other support for a variety of self-sustaining social development projects and programs, both domestically and abroad, in order to effectively fight social injustice at a grass roots level. As of its founding, Blue Hope is primarily focusing on working with education, poverty, and children’s issues in Tanzania, East Africa and has done so by constructing and supporting a residential and educational facility and its outreach program. House of Blue Hope pulls kids off the streets and puts them into a safe living and learning environment. With such access to one of the top schools in the country, the current and future residents of the House of Blue Hope will be provided with top-notch educational opportunities in a country in which only about 12% of the population receives a secondary education. Furthermore, the facility has become a large part of the local high school’s community service program, as well as a catalyst to keep alumni involved and connected after graduation.
