We live in unprecedented times where more children are raised by a single parent than ever before. Unfortunately, these single parents often represent the poorest demographic group. Our foundation provides financial assistance for extracurricular and enrichment programs for the children of single working parents. These programs bring tremendous joy and self-esteem to the child and the parent. Additionally, there is a positive benefit to the community when children are safely engaged and not left on their own to find or cause trouble. This allows parents to remain at work focused on their job and supporting their family instead of worrying about their children. Since Carolyn Gable founded the Expect A Miracle Foundation in 2001, we have helped over 7,000 children. Please help us continue to grow that number by donating today!

The mission of Take Stock in Children is to passionately promote personal growth, self responsibility, and academic success for deserving low-income children in Lake and Sumter Counties in Central Florida by providing a unique set of resources including mentors, scholarships, long-term support, student advocacy, and a guaranteed educational opportunity.

To provide free resources to at-risk youth and their families on their path to self-sufficiency.

Our mission is to offer hope and healing for those grieving the loss of someone special or struggling with the challenges of life by providing support services in the Southeastern Connecticut Community. In addition to grief support, we promote suicide awareness and prevention with education on suicide risk factors and warning signs.

The mission of The First Tee of Greater Dallas is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, still life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The chapter serves the Greater Dallas community, including Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis and other surrounding counties. JTD is premised on the belief that substantive and supportive curriculum-based programs can be a powerful catalyst for homeless and victimized teens to be positively motivated to pursue education and healthy living goals. As the numbers of homeless and victimized teens grow, JTD is aggressively stretching to reach more teens each year through community outreach, school programs, prevention, education, teen residential shelter, and supportive service initiatives

The mission of Foster Angels of Central Texas is to improve the lives of children in foster care, ensuring that each child has their basic needs met, and to provide life-enriching and life-enhancing experiences whenever possible.

Boys Town Jerusalem is a unique “community of youth” founded in 1948 as a visionary response to the loss of a generation of Jewish children in the Holocaust and as a haven for the children of the masses of immigrants to the new Jewish State. 

THE 4-H FOUNDATION OF SONOMA COUNTY, A NON-PROFIT 501C(3) CORP, WAS ESTABILISHED IN 1982 TO SUPPORT, PROMOTE & ENHANCE THE 4-H PROGRAM IN SONOMA COUNTY. THROUGH THE FOUNDATION, 4-H CLUBS COUNTY-WIDE CAN APPLY FOR GRANTS TO ENHANCE & BENEFIT THEIR 4-H WORK.

The Foundation was founded in 1998 by then Miami Dolphin linebacker, Twan Russell, and his mother, Corliss. Corliss was a middle-school teacher with a huge heart for helping struggling children. Called the Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation, the after school program focused solely on reading as a means to equip children for academic success. Twan grew up in the inner-city and believed that a mastery of reading played a large part in overcoming his circumstances. He received a communications and criminology degree from the University of Miami that has helped him to achieve his goals long after his football career has ended. Twan and Corliss started the first center at a local church and neighborhood children immediately began to take advantage of the opportunity to overcome their challenges with reading and to reinforce important life skills. Community partners stepped in along the way and now the foundation serves hundreds of children. New centers are being added every year. Starting in 2010, the program began to add math and science, dance and other activities. The foundation was renamed in 2015 to reflect this broader focus. In 2008, Dragonfly Darlings was added as an auxiliary organization for the mothers of the children in the program. Through periodic events and an annual conference, it helps the parents to encourage their children academically and to improve their own literacy skills. Today, Twan Russell is the Senior Director of Community Programs for the Miami Dolphins. He remains active in the foundation as Chairman of the board of directors. Sadly, Corliss Russell’s early death in 2006 prevented her from seeing the life-changing resource that the Russell Education Foundation has become. Her memory continues to inspire everything that the foundation does in the community.
