Academy For Technologists Extraordinaire

Camp BYOC’s mission is to build a pipeline of minority youth for technology careers. We ignite a passion for technology in youth by exposing them to the fundamentals of computer hardware and software. Youth who experience all phases of our program build their own computer and get an accelerated dip into the world of technology. Our campers take pride in what they create. The knowledge, skills, and confidence acquired by attending the camps provide a solid foundation and competitive edge as they pursue future careers. Affordability of camps is achieved through a combination of grants and donations that make programs accessible to all levels of the community. Camp BYOC believes that all youth with drive, interest and initiative should have an opportunity to participate.

Refuge Center For Counseling

The Refuge Center’s mission was clear from the beginning—to offer affordable, professional counseling services in order to empower, educate and support individuals, couples and families in need. Amy and Jennifer had discovered that there were few opportunities for affordable counseling in the area, as many local therapists charge $90 – $175+ per session. They wanted to offer therapy to those who could not afford those fees, so they created a sliding-scale fee structure that ranges from $25 – $120 per session and is based on each individual’s income level.

Ocean Partnership For Children

If you want to directly impact the life of a child struggling with mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities like autism, please consider a gift to Ocean Partnership for Children. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of youth and their families through natural and community supports. That means that we use a team approach to help our kids succeed, overcome challenges, and achieve their dreams and goals. Ocean Partnership for Children is THE NJ Children's System of Care designated care management organization (CMO) in Ocean County, NJ. We help over 1,000 youth every day, keeping them at home, in school and in the community where they can thrive. We use an innovative and successful approach that focuses on the youth's strengths, instead of their struggles. Our wraparound approach means we wrap services (in-home counseling, behavioral support, and other supports) around that youth and family. Because of our dedicated care coordination, over 90% of our youth are successful in their community!
