Leveling the Playing Field gives kids from under-resourced communities the opportunity to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of youth sports participation. We do this through the donation of used and excess sporting equipment to programs and schools serving low-income communities. Our donations allow programs to allocate funds saved by lowering registration fees, expanding their scholarship programs, enhancing their existing athletic program and/or developing new ones.

To create a caring community where grieving families know they are not alone; to provide a safe place to grieve the death and celebrate the life of loved ones; to provide professionally facilitated support groups, individual counseling and special programs for grieving children, teens and adults; and to be the primary community resource for providing comprehensive grief support, advocacy and education.

John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation was created to continue the tradition of giving set forth by my father, John T. Holzum. He was a man of great integrity and character. He gave of himself relentlessly while being a great husband, exceptional father of six children, owning a business, serving as president of a school board, and serving as Faithful Navigator of his Knights of Columbus council. John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation produces events to raise funds for a variety of benefactors. Country Family Reunion benefits the USO of Missouri, and Mission Possible benefits Professor Craig & Shari Miner's mission trips to foreign orphanages to assist children with disabilities. The foundation funds a variety of special needs cases, including sending underprivileged children to Summer camp, buying Christmas presents for homeless children, and purchasing a violin for a young aspiring musician. The foundation will start a scholarship for two graduating high school seniors beginning in 2018. We intend to serve more causes as our foundation grows! John T. The mission of the Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation is to educate middle and high school coaches and teenages to help them develop leadership skills to become responsible and successful in their schools, on their teams and in their communities.

The mission statement of the agency reads, "Based on the teachings of Christ, Children's Foundation of Mid-America provides compassionate and therapeutic social, psychological and educational services to children and families of all faiths." In response to the needs of hurting children and their families, it is our intention to continue to be creative in serving the needs of children who have been neglected or abused, or who are at risk. Children's Foundation wants to enable each child to become a strong contributing member of our society.

The mission of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Foundation is to enhance and encourage public enjoyment and use of the wildlife and fisheries resources in this state. With this mission, we promote, develop, and expand the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in youth recruitment, environmental education and training, and habitat conservation.

The foundation works to help financially disadvantaged children and youth gain opportunities and resources to pursue their goals. It runs “Dream Rooms” (technology/STEM learning centers placed in Title I schools) and youth programs such as leadership/football camps and community events to provide mentoring, technology access, and character development.

Drowning prevention and aquatic safety education. The San Diego Junior Lifeguard Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of water safety through the many programs it supports including water proofing San Diego, trarn to swim programs for intercity youth, and 100 scholarships for disadvantaged family participation in the jg program each summer

In 1998, the club created the Foundation who’s mission is “To manage and grow the funds entrusted to it in a lawful manner and to make available charitable funding in perpetuity for qualified beneficiaries selected by the Rotary Club of Point West.” Since 1998, the Foundation has donated over $1.1 million to over one hundred worthy charitable causes in three broad categories: Organizations that create opportunity, enhance self esteem, and provide physical and moral support for vulnerable children; Programs that celebrate or promote community service; and Service activities of Rotary International and other Rotary clubs. Grants must finance a specific benevolent activity; requests for support of general operations (operating expenses) are not considered; and grants are made only to qualified 501 (c) (3) and other tax qualified organizations.
