Philly Girls in Motion is a volunteer driven organization that engages girls in fitness activities, sports, and education that encourages healthy habits. Through school-based and community-based programs, we have created a movement that gets girls moving!

We empower girls to embrace a strong sense of self.

Founded in 2008, Girls in Action, Inc. use teamwork to promote manners, self-esteem, social skills and communication skills for the purpose of helping little girls between the ages of 8-12 find their voice and become leaders in their schools, communities, families and ultimately the world! Our goal is to jump start gender equality in roles of leadership.

STEM Advantage's mission is to mentor, prepare and inspire young women and underserved communities to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through paid internships, mentorships and scholarships. This 360-degree approach is designed to provide the support needed to keep promising scholars in a STEM program, including the skills and work experience that will assist them in landing their first position after graduation, plus graduate with less student debt. In 2012 we launched our program at California State University, Dominguez Hills, a highly diverse, urban university that serves the Los Angeles metropolitan area. In 2014 we expanded our program to include students at California State University, Los Angeles, which is also highly diverse. Our goal "23 by 2023" is to offer our program at all 23 California State University (CSU) campuses by 2023. The CSU is the nation's largest four-year public university system with 23 campuses. The CSU stretches 800 miles from Humboldt in the north to San Diego in the South, and educates approximately 460,000 students. We selected the CSU as our university partner because the CSU: educates the most ethnically, economically and academically diverse student body in the nation provides more than half of all undergraduate degrees granted to California's Latino, African American and Native American students is the nation's largest four-year public university system; more than a third of CSU students are first generation college students.

Talented Girls In Action is non-profit organization that exist to advance the next generation of young girls to operate at a TGIA standard of excellence. Through our interactive curriculum, that incorporates discipline and integrity, we help girls reach their full potential as leaders in their communities ; as well as forming a lifelong passion for education.

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy. Our programming – delivered to 156,000 girls in partnership with schools and at our centers – across 83 affiliates in over 330 cities and 1,400 sites focuses on the development of the whole girl. A combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a safe pro-girl environment, and research-based programming equips girls to lead healthy and productive lives, break the cycle of poverty, and become role models in their communities.

DIY Girls empowers the next generation of female STEAM leaders. We are a supportive community helping young girls become confident, creative builders of technology and architects of their own lives.

We are on a Mission! To educate, initiate, and innovate young minds for tomorrow’s social response toward education and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics including the Arts statistics of underserved youth, girls, and women interest in STEM university campus studies to career learning opportunities.

Cool Girls is dedicated to the self-empowerment of girls in low-income neighborhoods. We provide the path of potential success by showing them how to make positive choices. These tools allow the girls we serve to achieve academic success, break the cycle of teen pregnancy and poverty and the ability to overcome the barriers of racism and sexism. Our program allows girls to gain confidence in her and provides herself with a broader view of the world. We offer the tools to help our girls live healthy and productive lives through academic support, health and life skills development, mentoring relationships, and field trips. Cool Girls, Inc. is able to give low-income girls a chance to become a successful educated woman. Founded in 1989, Cool Girls started as a small girls? club in the East Lake Meadows housing development, a community with a notorious reputation for violence. The girls involved named their new club ?The Cool Girls of East Lake? and Cool Girls was born. The agency?s philosophy of working closely with girls living in low-income areas to identify their needs and provide programs to address those needs was also established during this time. The work of Cool Girls is unique and effective. It is our vision to create a learning environment where girls are empowered to succeed in academic, social and professional arenas. By taking a comprehensive approach to developing girls we understand that each of our program components are necessary and interrelated to the others. Our Multi-level model for reaching girls in need will be implemented in 11 school sites in DeKalb and Fulton Counties, reaching over 500 girls from low-income communities during the 2005-2006 school year.

Edu-GIRLS seeks to address the unique challenges to delivering education to girls created by social and gender bias in poverty affected households. In such households, with both parents trying to earn a living, girls are often held back from school to take care of the household or look after younger siblings or even to add to the meager family income through menial work. Edu-GIRLS approach customizes delivery methods to achieve success in such a setting, where few resources are devoted to the girl child.We do not stop at increased primary enrollment. We do not stop at achieving high rates of high school completion. We extend ourselves to ensure that girls have acquired skills for good jobs.We go all the way to financial independence.
